  • Very comfortable. Pressure off ball of foot.
Size: 13 X-Wide Color: Black/Phantom
I have been struggling with a wound on the ball of my foot for almost 6 years. I have had special orthotics, worn a boot and seen several podiatrists who all wanted to do some sort of different surgery. I bought these shoes after seeing a you tube video about relieving pressure on your forefoot for runners. I thought maybe it would help me. It really has. My wound is the best it has been and seems to finally be closing. The shoes fit true to size. I got wide ones and they are very comfortable in the toe box. They are extremely light weight. When the package arrived I wondered if it actually had shoe inside. There is a slight learning curve if you are not used to the way these shoes redistribute your weight. At first it feels like you’re falling backwards a bit. That subsides quickly. And finally, I think they look great though my family was quick to call them “Dad” shoes. Well I am a Dad, so maybe it’s not that bad. I certainly don’t think they look like the older stereotypical new balance that men would wear with tube socks and shorts. Overall I’m super happy and on the hunt for a pair of hikers with similar geometry. ... show more

  • Best Sneakers Ever
Size: 12 Wide Color: Arctic Grey/Natural Indigo
We all have our own ideas of what it would be like to walk on air, but it is truly like walking on air when you put on these sneakers. The support is firm yet not stiff. The cushioning is deep yet not too bouncy. It's the ultimate Pinnacle of technology and design. I will only buy this specific model from New balance going forward. It's hard to imagine they could improve on this ... show more

  • My NEW Favorite Shoe
Size: 11.5 Color: Mercury Blue/Dark Silver Metallic
First off, I'm a shoe nerd. I admit it. Growing up my Dad would buy us only 𝙏𝙃𝙀 cheapest shoes he could find. They were so bad that we'd wear them out in a couple of months and I should be honest, I am not hard on my shoes, either (my older brother was a different story). Didn't make a difference. My Dad would rather buy us a pair of new shoes for $20 every couple months rather than spend $35 on ONE pair that would last at least a year (if not more). As a result, when I finally got a job and could buy my own, I had quite a collection. A habit I continue to this day. With that in mind, within the last year I've purchased 2 other pairs of New Balance trail running shoes which were (at that time) the most comfortable pairs of shoes I had ever purchased. Since then I bought a pair of Brooks Ghost Max which replaced those as the most comfortable pair of shoes I had ever owned. The Fresh Foam X have now replaced (by a slim margin) my Brooks for sheer comfort. I don't really run, but I DO an awful lot of hiking and walking. So strict comfort is pretty important to me. These shoes are simply brilliant in how comfortable they are. The previously mentioned New Balance Trail runners were, for a lack of a better term, had almost too much cushion. I know, how can a shoe have TOO much cushion? Well, those do...at least for me. For instance, I would never wear them for weight training, especially doing the dead lift. The cushion is SO pronounced that I'd be worried they could pull me off balance a little too easily. But then again, they aren't designed for weight lifting, so just keep that in mind. The Foam X shoes are a perfect balance between great cushion and sheer comfort. It must be hard for companies to achieve that balance without going too far but Kudo's to NB for pulling it off. The soles aren't as durable as the trail runners perhaps, but oh man are they a joy to wear. Again, since I don't run I cannot speak to how stable they'd be at doing any long/short distance running but man am I happy with mine. Overall 𝙏𝙃𝙀 most comfortable shoes I own (and I own a LOT). I am VERY satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

  • Nice, cushy daily trainer
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: White/Black Metallic/Black
Feels plush underfoot. Very roomy, with nice, roomy toebox for my 2E feet. Very stable with wide platform. I would advise ordering true to size. I ordered a half size up and they're a little too long. Not a speed shoe by any means, but the rocker enables me to pick-up the pace if I choose. My biggest complaint is the tongue. It is not gusseted, which normally is no big deal for me, but no matter how I lace the shoe, the tongue slips, and it's very annoying. It may be because the shoe is a little too large. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the More V 4 for slow recovery days and long, easy runs. The verdict is still out on durability, however. ... show more

I exceed 20,000 steps a day and the shoes are amazing and are as comfortable, if not more so, than Nikes that are $100 more expensive. • Greatly improved my day!
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Black/Phantom
I was orginally wearing sketcher shoes that had dr schols working insules. As a pharmacy technician it helped, but my feet still hurt from standing all day and it was starting to affect my knees. But once I wore these the difference was night and day. It felt easier to walk, it felt like I was walking on a comfortablely firm cloud, and the ease of slipping on and off makes it easy to get ready in the morning. Definitely worth the investment without a doubt, and they aren't anywhere as expensive as hokas. Cons: Yes the sides will wrinkle and get stained over time. As for the wrinkles not sure how to fix that, but the staines just warm soapy water and a wash cloth/paper towel works fine. Also there is two areas under the shoe that don't have rubber and touch the floor constantly, but so far it's not a big issue. ... show more

  • Like Hoka Bondi 8
Size: 10 Color: Nb Navy/Cosmic Pineapple/Heritage Blue
Got tired or Hoka Bondi, and thought about trying something different. Bond is great, just want different. These are 70 dollars cheaper and more comfortable. Had 2 months and so good so far. I had spinal fusion and they're great for pain. Not sure of long term durability or sole compression yet, Hoka was good about 10 months, but these are good so far. ... show more
