I've been wearing NB 880s for a several years now and the latest version does not disappoint. I wear them with an aftermarket insole for arch support and really like the new version. The sole is a little wider than v13, but has not impacted me. I use them for walking and working out. They are comfortable and provide reasonable stability. I wear them all day long with no complaints. If you are looking for a good running or walking shoe, the NB 880 v14 is a great choice for the price.

Finally, I can find a pair of New Balance running shows in a narrow width for men. I have to start with sizing information. I wear a size 12 in Nike, Brooks and Asics running shoes so I ordered a 12 and the length is perfect. The challenge is that I have a narrow foot with a high arch so I find that Asics and Mizuno running shoes fit me really well, the "medium" New Balance are too wide so I was very happy to see the 1080 offered in a narrow. They do not disappoint. I think they're still a little on the medium side of width but vastly better for my foot. I really like the Fresh Foam cushioning, its really squishy and quite comfortable, they really cushion the pavement without being obscenely thick (like Hoka and the new Max soles by Brooks and Asics); I'd have to say that if you're looking for a comfortable and cushioned show these offer all that you could ask for. In terms of the upper, it ventilates well and the heel cup keeps your foot well secured. All this and I even like the color (guess the movie reference). The bottom line is that I am thrilled to finally find a pair of New Balance running shows that are genuinely narrow, they've been great all summer and I will definitely buy another pair!

I've been wearing 880's for over a decade, and they're the most comfortable shoe out of the box that I own for my foot shape. The 2E fits true to size for me, and I really appreciate New Balance making their neutral runner in a wide in less bland colors, which is unusual,. In the past the 880's I've owned last fairly well, but the newest edition has been a bit disappointing for me in that regard. They are light, which is lovely, but I'm wearing out the inner material at the back of my heel, and the soles are less durable than past models. I'm going to keep buying them, as they are super comfy for me, and are a joy from the first step. But prepare to replace the newest version more often than you may have in their earlier styles.

I ordered size 11 Extra Wide (4E) and size 10.5 4E was sent ... first time Amazon has ever made such a mistake with me. But a good mistake as these are not really Extra Wide, maybe Wide at best so even if the correct size 11 was sent, I would have returned them regardless. The shoes are nice looking though, but just not wide enough.
