I work for USPS and I'm on my feet all day. I have to wear a black leather slip-resistant shoe, so trying to find a comfortable shoe can be troublesome. The New Balance Fresh Foam X840F V1 is extremely comfortable. The foam insole and thick sole, make it comfortable to walk in, especially for long periods of time. I've tried Hoka's, Addidas, Brookes, Puma's, and Skechers. This shoe is the most comfortable out of the other brands I've tried. The only other brand that has come close is the Skechers Max Cushioning, but unfortunately, they don't make this shoe in black leather any longer. Some reviews claim the sole is breaking down; however, for me, I buy new shoes every six months based on the miles I put on them in six months, so I don't have a problem buying more than one pair of these shoes in a year. I may buy a few extra pair these New Balance Fresh Foam shoes to have extras just in case they are discontinued like most shoe models eventually are. ... show more

I'm a UPS driver and these have helped my knees, ankles, foot arches etc etc. They are very comfortable and light weight. I've had them for a couple weeks now and the soft foam bottoms do seem to wear out quicker than other shoes. The rest of the shoe is holding up strong. I also have the Brooks Ghost max 2 and I think those are awesome but these New Balance feel better. The price of these shoes is worth the investment. I used to buy $50 Fila shoes that would last longer but I would get off work hurting everywhere. If I have to buy 2 pair of these every year, so be it. ... show more

I bought these for work. I work 10.5 hour days at a desk but I'm constantly standing and walking around. These are insanely comfy and squishy. So much support with a huge sole. They are NB's so you know they're sturdy. They were very pricey but they're definitely worth the money if you're on your feet all day or just want super comfy work shoes! ... show more

I really like these shoes. I tend to have foot pain and lower back pain if my shoes do not have proper support. The only complaint I’d have is they are a little noisy, squeaky, on certain tile floors.
