  • Comfortable but with some minor issues
Size: 12 Wide Color: Eclipse/Vibrant Orange/Spring Tide
Fit = When first tried on, the left show was a little tighter than the right. Since I had meticulously measured my feet using a Brannock template, and ordered accordingly, this presented a bit of a mystery. So I measured the shoe widths and, despite them both being labelled correctly, found the fabric top on the left shoe to be slightly narrower than the right (by about 1/8th of an inch). Thankfully there was enough stretch in the fabric that after only a few days pounding on the concrete floor of my workplace, the left shoe had eased to be as comfortable as the right, and with no signs of tightness or rubbing. So 'fit as expected' Yes, but with a cautionary tale. Comfort = Totally. The excellent shock absorbency is a godsend. Support = The arch shape does provide a gentle support without being too rigid, which is a plus, but the overall softness of the shoe provides little resistance to the rolling gait of over-pronation, contrary to what the sales literature infers. Hence after a long day, the ankles do start to tire. In fairness, since my over-pronation is 'medical grade' it may be that these are not intended for that level of support. Overall verdict = Be aware of potential issues with the fit. It's essential to measure your feet using a Brannock template before ordering, especially when considering width fitting. For comfort, I can't fault them. For Support, I'd say they are fine for normal footed people, and even those whose over-pronation is slight to moderate, but worse pronation than that, and I'd say they will do for most tasks or fitness regimes, but be aware that ankles may tire after extended periods of wearing, e.g. eight hours or more. ... show more

  • No lace anxiety! A true 1080
Size: 10.5 Color: Heritage Blue/Black/Neon Dragonfly
Love 1080s as a dependable daily trainer and frequently have them in my rotation. Was curious and honestly a bit skeptical about the lace free design. Reviewing them after a few weeks and with 240 miles of use. I’m a believer. Cushioning and tread is still going strong as I expect with 1080s and so impressed by the consistent hold on my foot, with no slipping or movement despite the slip on design. No compromise in the width of the toe box to achieve that locked in feel with this upper. So pleased. I typically can get 650-700 miles out a pair of 1080s with little tread loss before I notice the breakdown of the cushioning. This is a lot more miles than I get from other running shoes I rotate. If I don’t update, then these also went the distance. ... show more

  • Comfortable, wide, suportive
Size: 7.5 X-Wide Color: Steel/Serene Blue/Lead
Female 40's. Have been buying these from about V9 up. These went back to a more structured heal which allows me to just slip my foot in. I barely tighten the laces as I cannot stand pressure to to top of my foot or toes. Fabric is breathable, flexable, high arches and wonderful support otherwise. Like walking on clouds. Generally buy v10 and up now depending on size availability and if there is a sale. Work as a nurse on my feet all day. For hiking I tighten the laces or would walk out of them. Urban hiking... not enough traction/ankle support for true mountains but where these 90% of my life. Have ultra wide feet with a high arch. (4E) These took away all my chronic foot pain and was able to avoid another surgery for essentially arthritic nurse feet per the podiatrist. Love and will continue to buy. Try to get on sale as they are pricey, but worth it. ... show more

  • These sneakers really work
Size: 7.5 Wide Color: Black/Thunder/White
I was skeptical, especially considering the high price tag. However, after 7 months my wife consistently reports that her knee pain is considerably lower compared to the time before using these sneakers. She is a supervisor at Walmart and walks 8 hours daily in an extremely busy supermarket. Before wearing these shoes, she complained almost daily about her knee pain. That she needs to rest, or can't do this, or that. In the past 7 months I have heard her complain only twice. Now, she will keep busy after work. Cleaning the house, organizing, gardening, fixing dinner, or something. These shoes are a blessing. For the creators of these shoes, could you please fix the measurements? They don't fit US shoe sizes. The first ones we ordered were too big. Half a size bigger. ... show more

  • Super comfortable and fashionable!
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Black/Hot Marigold
I got these for my friend and he loved them. I ordered a size 10W and they fit perfectly, he still had about a half size of toe room and he said that they are the most comfortable shoes he’s owned. They are very light; he mentioned that they don’t feel tight at all and his toes have plenty of room to breathe. ... show more

  • EXTREMELY comfortable for walking
Size: 12 Color: Steel/Serene Blue/Lead
I walk a lot, but have issues with both feet that require a shoe with arch support and comfortable padding. After working my way through multiple brands and finding what I thought was a great shoe, these are by far the best I've had. They definitely are not the most stylish shoes around for sure, but they do what they are designed to do very well. I've walked about 90 miles in them so far and they are as comfortable as the day I got them with minimal wear. They will let you increase your pace with really no extra effort, allow you to go further without aches and help with foot fatigue as well. You really can't go wrong with these shoes and they will be the only ones I'll be using for walks from now on! ... show more

  • Comfortable and durable if you can get them on
These are almost perfect shoes, they’re very comfortable with a lot of support and also pretty breathable. I wish I had ordered a wide because they run a little narrow. The only issue I have is they’re not easy to put on, even though they look like a slip-on. I have to use two hands to hold the front and back of the opening to get my foot in which is actually more annoying and awkward than a normal laced shoe. ... show more

  • fit for me included an Aetrex insert. I ordered my normal size
Size: 12 Narrow Color: Steel/Serene Blue/Lead
This is the best replacement I've found for a HOKA Bondi sneaker, which does not offer widths for a narrow foot. It's almost equal in comfort to the HOKA with its soft foam soles. I use it with an Aetrex insert with a built in pad for neuromas. The combination is great. I can walk and be on my feet for long periods of time. Best of all, it fits my narrow foot! What's with all of the shoe companies that don't make shoe sizes for people with narrow feet. We are not that small of a minority. I'm especially talking about you, HOKA. ... show more
