I love these sneakers. I actually purchased a second pair shortly after the first do I could alternate and make them last longer. My only complaint is I'm an 11.5 wide and it must be a common size because all the colors I like are always unavailable. I think they aren't gonna be around much longer. I also hate how Amazon likes to mark up the colors that are most in demand! That pisses me off. I had to pay $160 for a pair of the red ones with the black heals.     • Comfortable and attractive active shoe
1/30/20 UPDATE; on my third pair, and haven't even CONSIDERED another daily shoe. I've done as much as 20 miles a day in them, pulled a 735lb deadlift in them, and I'm here to grab a fourth pair. For any buyers on the large side, here's the combo I run after trial and error to find the best fit/feel; -Dr Scholl's heavy duty insoles -Round elastic laces (I use locklace without the locks, worn tight) -Saucony athletic socks (imo fit/last/support better than Reebok) ORIGINAL REVIEW; Right off the bat, the only reason i'm currently giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. At $80 I'd like to see a foam sole shoe come with a nonslip outsole. This would be a 5 star shoe at $65. General Review; I've owned a LOT of shoes. I'm very active, a big dude, and harder than most on them. My first impression of these shoes is simply that they might be the most comfortable set of shoes i've ever worn that aren't house slippers. Between work and cardio i rack up 25-30 miles a week, and so far i have zero issues to note in the first week. I'll update if a problem does arise. PROs; Shockingly comfortable. The design on this shoe is stellar and hugs your foot evenly with minimal effort Springy step without being bouncy, walking requires minimal effort Maneuverable and light Looks great The heel cup does its job as intended CONs; I don't know if it's just me, but the laces that come on NB shoes are always WAY too long. I don't have small feet by any means and i'm always left with at least a full 10"-12" of lace per side before tying, and this means that they come untied 2-3 times a day when i'm doing something on my knees at work. Plan on replacing the laces or cutting them down. (BTW NB, if you want to stand out, ditch the traditional laces for elastic ones) The factory insert is beyond useless as usual. Mine was worn flat after the first day. I personally use the Dr Scholls Heavy Duty insoles in my shoes and they are hugely complementary to this pair ... show more

I'm a heavy set guy at around 200Lbs and have bad arthritis in both knees, so having a good shoe is very important. I'll just cut to the chase and say that these are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. The ONLY shoe that is on par with these from my experience is the KEEN Uneek sandal. I haven't been able to really try these things out on city surfaces such as asphalt, cement, tiled floors, etc. due to COVID, but I have spent a few weeks wearing them around the house and standing for hours at my adjustable height desk with great results. I have a backup pair of shoes that I purchased at a big box store, and I can usually stand at my desk for maybe 45 minutes before my knees get wobbly. However, with the Roav V1, I can manage 3 hours standing on hardwood floors until I need to sit down. I was skeptical when I took them out of the box. They are very light and felt like the foam shoes you get at a big box store, but once I put them on all doubt was cast aside. My only real complaint is they seem to run about half a size large. I wear a size 9 and have a good amount of space between my toes and the front of the shoe. This doesn't affect stability for me, but I noticed that if I need to go from a walking pace to a stop quickly, my feet slide forward in the shoe a small amount which feels weird. ... show more

These shoes are fine. I go through athletic shoes like these once every two months. I walk/job 15+ miles a day 6 days a week so I put on 90 miles a week. I have 3 pair of shoes (different brands) that I rotate daily. These shoes are a tad tighter than the shoes I normally wear. Since I walk/job so much a good pair of shoes will last two months however shoes with defects I can find in about the second wear. These are showing signs of a heel break, I just wore them this morning for a 15 mile walk/job and the heel looks like it's not strong enough to handle my foot. I've sent back shoes from another brand a few times because of this problem. At first I thought it was my feet but after almost 2 years of this it's not my feet it's a bad shoe. I think I may send these back but will know for sure after the second wear. I hope they allow the return. I also normally wear an ankle sleeve and two pair of athletic socks but with these I had to remove one of the socks for a better fit it was still a tad tight. ... show more
