  • Not Impressed with the New Version
After thoroughly enjoying and wearing out my Versions 1 and 2 pairs of Arishi running shoes, I was looking forward to the arrival of my new shoes. Unfortunately, the V3 is a big disappointment in my opinion. I've always enjoyed NB shoes for their wide toe box and comfortable upper fit. The uppers on these are quite tight and the sole of the new version is much narrower than V1 and V2 were. There's no way I'm running in these. Sending them back tomorrow. I just wish New Balance would leave well enough alone when they have a popular model of shoe. It seems like every time they do a redesign they make a good shoe a little worse (or much worse, in this case). ... show more

  • NOT slip resistant!
Size: 9.5 Color: Black/Lead/Dark Silver Metallic
I bought these because they are listed as a slip resistant model on Shoes For Crews and although they are identical in model name and appearance, they are *not* slip resistant at all. I have a hard time believing a mainstream brand would have two different versions of a shoe with the same exact model name so someone isn’t being honest and I’m going to contact the maker and file a complaint with the better business bureau when I find out who it is. I’m not the only one who has purchased these here for the same reason, so people need to be aware. Do not buy these for work they are dangerous. ... show more

  • 4E? More like 2E. Not for wide feet. Just a wide toe box.
Size: 9.5 X-Wide Color: Black/Lead/Dark Silver Metallic
Feels like I'm walking on stilts. The sole and the heel are way to narrow to call these shoes 4E (x-wide) shoes. The shoe does not have a wide fit, just a wide toe box. My paddle-footed friends should look into Dunham, Rockport, or NewBalance 6E sizes.

  • Works for what I needed.
Size: 10 Color: Vision Blue/Alpha Orange
I like this shoe alot. It's not my favorite in the world, but they work for what I need them to. I work at Amazon, so needless to say I need to order a new pair every 2-3 months. The shoe is comfy and fits fine. They also look nice. I have a big feet that usually swell throughout the day so the soles give me enough breathing room and support where needed. But this is why New Balance is the best! I mean-I could use a little more support and possibly a new insole but I digress. The only issue I have with them is a thin insole and that the outside is made of mesh. This seems to be an issue with any shoe you buy these days. They're all marketed for thin, mesh outsole, and minimum support so they are the most lightweight as humanly possible... Cheers. ... show more

  • No support of any kind
Size: 11.5 Color: Gunmetal/Steel/Black
The shoes run a little small, so if you still decide to get them, order at least a half size larger. ZERO support in the shoes, thin useless insole, very thin flimsy sides, and not very comfortable. About a half step above running barefoot. Other than the fact they they're very lightweight, there is nothing positive to recommend them. ... show more

  • Great for 4E wide feet, but hard to keep white
Size: 10 Color: Black/Lead/Dark Silver Metallic
Honestly, these feel more like slippers than shoes. The fabric is mesh and very stretchy. You can see all of your toes stretch through the fabric when you move around. The sole is also a little on the spongy side, probably for comfort. These are labeled as "running shoes" which is a dangerous statement. Because of the stretchiness, your feet slide around a little too much under general walking. I would never attempt to run in these things! There is simply no stabilization. I ordered a 10.5 4E and feel they are true to size. I have always appreciated how NB offers wide sizes. The insole is removable and I replaced mine with something that offered more arch support. Because of the material, I do not see these lasting as long as I would like, even if I am not running in them. I bought these because I needed something that was white and would go well with a pair of jeans or shorts with "no show" socks. They do the job, but at 65 bucks, better deals can be had. ... show more

  • Not truely 4E
Size: 9.5 X-Wide Color: Black/Lead/Dark Silver Metallic
I have flat wide feet so I always order size 4E. Since my favorite model was discontinued, I resorted to this similar model. As you can see from the picture, my old (yellow) shoe is 1/4 inch wider than this new one (black). After running twice I got my middle toe bruised (losing toe nail). The minor difference makes day and night difference in comfort. I wish New Balance was consistent with the size specification. ... show more

  • Disappointed
Size: 13 Color: Neo Crimson/Black/Neo Flame
They are not that supportive or cushioned. There “ok”.
