This is my first experience with New Balance, and surprisingly, these shoes are extremely comfortable. The cushioning is superb and plush, providing excellent support across the entire foot, both heel and forefoot. They feel even better than the HOKA Bondi, while selling for about half the price. Sizing is similar to Reebok and Skechers (half a size larger than some other brands). If you wear size 11 in Adidas or Nike, you'll likely need a 10.5 here. The sole design is a bit unusual. The circular pattern makes it feel slightly slippery on flat, clean surfaces (like indoors), and it can be a bit squeaky as well. That said, they're great for running, jogging, and walking. I like how squishy these shoes are. Walked around a theme park all day with no issues. That being said, I do have inserts from my podiatrist in them and that changes the shoes a bit. I need to wear tight socks that don’t fall down. Would prefer them to be a little wider by the arch/ankle area and less wide by the toes. Got a white pair and black pair and the white ones fit better. The black ones seems less stable. ... show more

These New Balance 680 V8 shoes are actually better looking than the photo. They fit perfectly like a glove, are comfortable, durable and cushy to walk in fairly stable as well. Nice arch support built into the insoles also. Great fit as well—

The only non-prescription shoe I've found that completely keeps my planar fasciitis away. Comfortable and durable. The squishy sole is squishy but not TOO squishy, and at first you think it will wear out too quickly/easily, but it most certainly does not.
