Normally I wear 10.5 new balance, but with these I went to 11 because my toe was about at the end of 11. I went with wide to help with a foot injury, but I ended up getting a taller pair of orthotics which is perfect for the wide. With the included sole my foot was a little loose, but I needed that to heal an injury from walking too much in too tight of shoes (don't take new trips on a business trip). I only wore Brooks Adrenaline for several years, and after reading about how they were changing their shoe structure, I bought a couple pair of the last model (I think 12?). I was 12.5 4E in that shoe. I originally attempted a 12 X-Wide in this New Balance but sent them back for the 13 X-Wide. I've been happy with them so far. So far so good. I'm overweight, small flat feet, extremely picky with shoes as they can cause back pain or be uncomfortable on the feet. Out of the box I walked 3.5 miles and had no issues. I love New Balance shoes, but I wear a half size (U.S. — 11 rather than 10.5) larger than with any other brand. I have slightly tall feet, average width ‘D’. This shoe fits well, but next time for comfort I will go back to the more expensive model (in the $140 range) that really does have better structure. This is the third version that I have used. V5 and V6 were very comfortable, the V7 not so much. I really hope New Balance get back to the high quality I expect from them.
