I cannot speak for the durability, comfort, cushioning, or whether they are best for jogging or walking or the gym. I have not used them but only tried them on. One thing I like about them is their appearance. I like this particular color combination. Shades of gray and blue. Nothing really florescent or with bright , loud , outlandish colors that would only make then fitting (visually) for a colorful tracksuit or tights and not with regular clothing like jeans or cargo pants or khakis or trekking pants ( unless maybe the jeans, cargo pants, khakis or trekking pants are outlandishly colored too), but very loud colors are meant for teenagers. Older people would prefer more toned down colors. Of course I know I don't speak for everyone and yet, there is a need for active wear and general use clothing for people with more mature tastes. I did buy these sneakers in size 8 wide. There wasn't an 8 and a half that I saw available on the Amazon site. It was also to make sure they fit. I am female but often buy men's sneakers as they fit better. I like the New Balance brand (of course not all their styles) and other NB styles such as the 870 is comfortable and a size 8 in men's fits just right. But a different style in the same brand can fit differently. I was not sure if a different NB style would fit be in the same size. When I tried on the sneakers it seemed they basically fit and were comfortable enough when I just walked a few feet indoors but I could not be sure that if I were to walk longer distances in them I would really feel my toes hitting the inside at the front of the sneaker. I decided to return the ones I originally ordered. I will order a different size. Probably 8 and a half but if not available, maybe size 9. The material of these sneakers seems good. The fabric is not very flimsy as with other brands and styles (even NB has some styles with fabric that is too thin and light). The sneaker has good symmetry and shape. I would recommend these but it can depend on your needs for a sneaker. I will update if necessary. NOTE: I ordered a size 8.5 . They fit and were basically comfortable merely wearing them. Yet It still seemed that I could not be sure that they would be comfortable enough when I am walking. So I sent them back and ordered a size 9 to be on the safe side. It is odd that this style seems to run small. Maybe it was that my socks were a bit thick but I do love the appearance of this style in the color I ordered, Gray. I am hoping to order another pair as soon as I know which size would be best.

I just got them delivered a few minutes ago, so this is a first impression. They feel very comfortable, but I would hope so with new shoes. But I will add my Me Too, to those that say they do seem smaller than I was expecting, I normally get a size 13 D, I have to get that size so they will be wide enough for my fat feet. For me to get a size that fits me properly, as in going to a shoe store that actually measures your feet, for me that use to be around a 10 1/2 to 11 EEEE size. These feel my old brain remembers. I'm not complaining, these so far feel very good, it's just I would suggest for you to plan on these being smaller than you would be by going to a 'brick and mortar' store.

It is comfortable but at the same time firm in the accuracy of the contour of the foot, as it secures the foot in a single position for when you run on dirt and mud, the foot is more stable inside the shoe and you have more grip on slippery terrain, In the photo the sole look light yellow, but it's orange yellow, but that doesn't matter much, they are very pretty., but is the last time I bought an item on prime day, because it took 2 weeks to ship it, and I am prime member, I only saved $4 less for buying at these prime day offer, it is not worth buying on those days.

I needed something for general use after my doctor told me to stop running and switch to brisk walking. I no longer needed top-end shoes and had great experience with New Balance for decades. New Balance has many shoes for a good price. I settled on these and they have been great the first month. They have great cushion and my feet and knees feel great in them. My orthotics (New Balance has a well-deserved reputation for being roomy enough for orthotics) fit just fine in these shoes. These shoes are a great value for me.

Impressed with the wide fit and comfort of these shoes. Really nice cushion feel absorbing the impacts of walking. The tops are a lace material allowing them to breath well. Hopefully, they will hold up to my long distance walking and hiking.
