New Balance shoes run a little big, with this in mind, these are the best shoes available at the best price. Constructed with real leather and a gel sole insert makes them extremely comfortable and will last a very long time.

These shoes are VERY comfortable, true to size, and break in quickly. Unfortunately, they have already started falling apart after 5 months of daily wear. The soles and shell are fine, but the padding at the Achilles tendon has not. At this price, I would buy again. Just know what you're getting.

I was hesitant on buying these because I am very happy with the Skechers from Amazon. But I've always heard the New Balance are excellent. So I gave them a shot. Initially I felt the difference in foam padding, which is thicker on the Skechers, but after wearing these NB 608's on a 2 mile walk I felt the true difference. The arch support and flexibility of the support make these a significantly better choice for me. I've now taken multiple long walks and choose these even though my Skechers are just fine. Bought a second pair of these NB 608's and will use these for the real work of fitness and use Skechers for everything else until they're used up. It's smart to try other products and I'm happy I did with these 608's. Both are a good choice but I need the arch support after a knee replacement. I feel more stable and have longer wearing time. They also fit my feet more accurately in both width and length. Surprising how different the same size can be and these NB are right on, 9.5W. I already bought again sooo... ... show more

My first weekend out involved standing for 14 hours, and I was bracing for the usual foot fatigue or arch pain. To my surprise, my feet felt perfectly fine by the end of the day. There was zero "new shoe" soreness or rubbing. Key Performance Observations: Fit & Sizing: These are remarkably true to size. I ordered my standard size and they fit like a glove immediately out of the box. No need to size up for extra sock room. Support: The 608 V5 provides a very stable base. On a gym floor, the traction is reliable, and the internal cushioning doesn't "bottom out" after several hours of standing. Aesthetics: They maintain a professional, clean look suitable for "official" duties or business-casual settings while providing the performance of a cross-trainer. Pros: Immediate comfort with zero break-in period. True-to-size dimensions (no guessing games with ordering). Consistent arch support that lasts through long shifts. I'm 6'4" and retired and I've bought New Balance for the last 10yrs, I used to be a Nike guy but a friend always wore New Balance so I gave them a try and WOW just WOW!! Great fit I wear them all day most every day, and there very well made and so durable and they carry my size 15 and they were on sale.
