I usually have a problem buying shoes on line. I use a Brannock Device to get proper size, but shoes often do not run true to size. I usually end up with shoes too long or too short and, usually, a width too narrow. These New Balance cross trainer fit exactly as they should. They are comfortable to walk in, and they are comfortable on the tread mill and working out with stack weights. The inner soles are comfortable and provide good support. If it wasn't for the memory foam insoles in these shoes I would give 5 stars. For decades I was wearing the leather upper New Balance shoes. My last were the 623. I noticed leather is like cardboard in the past 5 years so I decided on softer, suede like shoe. I am not diabetic, but always had sensitive feet and toes. These would be a perfect shoe but memory foam is awful for me and hard to walk on. So I remove them and replace with my dr Scholls insoles and these are good. Nothing rubs on top of foot, very padded under tongue. Sides are soft, yet still have good stability. Toe box is a tad narrower than leather 623 or 624 and I could tell from 3D image so I ordered a half size larger than my regular size and fit is perfect. I have purchased these 3 or 4 times now for my husband. They are extra wide and are comfortable the first time he puts them on. I like to keep an extra pair for “good” so he has a nice pair to wear out in the summer. You can’t beat the price and they last a long time.

I’m 6’2”, 205 lbs. and wear a size 12 shoe. I ordered these sneakers in 12 wide. They are a perfect fit but feel as though I should have gone up at least a half size larger. I’ll keep the size 12 as they may stretch with wear but I’ll definitely go up a half size next time I order a pair. I highly recommend them. ... show more
