I think I have owned 3 or these now over the last 5-6 years, just got a new pair this summer, and as long as NB keeps making them, I'll keep buying them. Love the feel, the colors, and the overall look of the shoe. It's become such an integral part of my daily attire that wearing any other type of shoe will need a long adjustment period to acclimate to. They're great for pretty much anything, running, walking, standing, workouts, they're a really versatile shoe and fit well for almost any occasion (excluding high society/high formality attire) and they really work well when paired with similar earthy colors. I work in auto service where I am on my feet standing/walking for 8+ hours a day and my feet are never sore in these shoes, even after I have worn out the memory foam pads. These shoes are perfect for me, especially the brown suede has a nice feel and with some wax it becomes semi water resistant, at least to a point. They clean up nice and have a thin memory foam insert that wears out after about 2-3 months, but put in your favorite arch support insole and these shoes will last for miles to come! ... show more

I usually have a problem buying shoes on line. I use a Brannock Device to get proper size, but shoes often do not run true to size. I usually end up with shoes too long or too short and, usually, a width too narrow. These New Balance cross trainer fit exactly as they should. They are comfortable to walk in, and they are comfortable on the tread mill and working out with stack weights. The inner soles are comfortable and provide good support. The insides are smooth, so nothing poking at my feet or causing discomfort. They look good. The leather has held up, the soles are not really wearing, so they hold up well. ... show more

If it wasn't for the memory foam insoles in these shoes I would give 5 stars. For decades I was wearing the leather upper New Balance shoes. My last were the 623. I noticed leather is like cardboard in the past 5 years so I decided on softer, suede like shoe. I am not diabetic, but always had sensitive feet and toes. These would be a perfect shoe but memory foam is awful for me and hard to walk on. So I remove them and replace with my dr Scholls insoles and these are good. Nothing rubs on top of foot, very padded under tongue. Sides are soft, yet still have good stability. Toe box is a tad narrower than leather 623 or 624 and I could tell from 3D image so I ordered a half size larger than my regular size and fit is perfect.     • The Most Comfortable Shoes

I love these shoes! The extra wide width may be the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Typically, even with an E-width I have to order one half to one size longer than I really need. These fit my feet perfectly at the correct length. I can wear them all day; light work or play! I have purchased three pairs, the first one lasted 2 years wearing them 70% of the time exclusively. For heavy work I wear leather work boots so as not too ruin these shoes. The third pairnianbrand new, in the box.
