As a mail Carrier who walks no drive routes and puts 20 miles a day on foot. This shoe is worth the price. I ordered a pair of Hoka SR bondi for 170 dollars on sale. Let me tell you I only wore them for a week and regretted my purchase. Now these new balance shoes are comfortable, are long lasting and my feet do not get hot. Hoka I don't know what all the hype is but a 60 dollar new balance shoe is superior in every way. I approve this shoe as a person who walks a lot as a mail Carrier this shoe is the best.

These are a different kind of comfortable. I fell in love with the comfort of the fresh foam 880s. My feet had suffered from years of working on my feet, and poor shoe selection on my part. I discovered the 880s, and it was a game changer. Came time to get a new pair. Did a lot of research on shoes recommended for plantar fascia and neuropathy. The 608s kept coming up. Took a chance. They are different than the 880s. Not as cushiony. Was worried about that, at first. Been taking walks in these every day. Although more firm, they are very comfortable, and my feet feel just fine. No pain, no numbness. Pleasantly surprised.

My favor was 609 which is not on the market any more. I like New Balance brand because is working for me the best. I have a high arch and I need good support and this is the only brand what is giving me everything - support my lower back and my feet. I order for women 608 but the fit is very weird and I don't like those light colors too, so I was looking for something different and I find out this one but for men. When I start reading reviews I find out they are good for women too. So I order them and they are amazing. I need something for work, walking on my new treadmill and for walking outside. This one be just for work and I will need 2 more pairs because I do not walking with outside shoes inside my home. They are very comfortable and supporting. If you are a women do not think twice try this one you will not regret. They look much better then the styles for women a least for me. They are not bulky, they have a enough room for my feet - I'm between regular and wide and those are medium for men and they are exactly what I need. I'm size 7,5 women and because they do not have a size 6 for men I order 6,5 for men and they are very good. They are light and breathable because they are made from leather. Thank you for good product. We will see how long they will last. The 609 last almost 30 years, but I was not wearing them so much before. This one I'm planning to wear every day. Well, we will see.

This is my 3rd pair. I only use these shoes for work as a busser in a restaurant, roughly around 4 days per week. These last me about 6 months or less, which is the reason for 4 stars and not 5! I've taken my time to look for a different cheaper, restaurant shoes, but it didn't convince me. Overall I'm happy happy with them, which is why I keep buying them. The fact that I abuse them in my high paced work environment, I guess it's justifiable for the wear and tear. I've included some pictures to show where it usually starts to wear down. I could probably use some glue and clean them up a bit to squeeze a few weeks more, but they're starting to smell bad, so I'm just tossing them and ordered a new pair. They are very comfy, which doesn't surprise me being New Balance. I spray them with a water protector spray every now and then to help with all that splashing that goes around my job environment. And I'm pretty sure it would've lasted me way less if I wouldn't of done this.

Using these as outside work shoes since I walk over 7000 steps a day 6 days a week. The fit is perfect and they are true to size. The weight is about that of a casual hiking shoe; obviously not as light as a runner but not as heavy as my old work shoes. They feel both comfortable and tough at the same time. I’m hoping this will be the perfect combination for out door work where I don’t need a steel toe or necessarily strong water resistance.

This shoe has a good fit for my feet. The shoes don't slip on my feet when I walk in them and they are comfortable for daily wear. I will buy them again in the same size but in a different color the next time I need a pair of sneakers. These are easy to put on your foot, they are preplaced and all you need to do is tighten them to fit your foot as you tie them. The price paid was a good deal. So, buy them on sale to save money.

I love these sneakers and have been wearing New Balance 600 series for years now. These fit great and are comfortable right out of the box. I particularly like the leather material. Other leading brands are cheaply made and use mesh fabric on all their footwear. I hope New Balance keeps making these, and the 609 for years to come.
