These shoes are designed and built to be tough. If you are a fan of running shoes these are not for you because they are much heavier. I do a lot of walking and they are perfect. Great sneakers!

Have had my last pair over 2 years and wear them almost daily. Still in decent shape, though starting to get a bit soiled from use. I've used New Balance sneakers for years. They're always comfortable and always provide the best fit. Would buy with confidence again - and again.

The Older Man's Shoe.

This looks decent in jeans, but not in shorts. Nice and Wide Design that is built for Comfort. I am a bit older and have about a decade before this would be considered appropriate (the norm), but the comfort level is what I wanted and needed. I recommend this shoe because of the wide sizes, a distance walk (i.e. a park, a coaster park, a zoo, or a ball game when You have to stand for a long period of time or do a lot of sit/stands movements. Shoes are made well with good arch support. They came stiff but with ware I'm sure they'll break in nicely. Will treat mine for waterproofing, as I live in snow. Fit very well. I ordered wide. Comfortable walking shoe.

A very comfortable walking shoe

These are very comfortable with plenty of room for wide feet. The soles are very firm and will require some breaking in. Unlike my Hokas, they do not have a lot of soft foam interspersed with the harder sole material. This makes them less flexible but also avoids picking up thorns, twigs and other debris in the soft areas. They have good lateral support which is welcome on the trail. The main body of the shoe is leather which, unlike fabric bodies, restricts the dissipation of moisture. Overall, I am very pleased.
