I bought these for a semi-dress shoe for a convention I attended in May of 2023. Afterwards I got serious about weight loss. I started at 268 lbs. I use these shoes both at work and at home and changed my diet. Instead of using a vehicle at work, I walk 3 - 4+ miles a day. I walk on concrete and asphalt in up to triple digit temps along with some gravel areas. On my days off, I also wear them while doing yardwork and going places. The shoes have held up well on both appearance and comfort. I'm starting to get a sound from the left shoe when I walk occasionally, but I can't find any physical damage. As a side note, I'm in my mid 70's and have neuropathy in both lower legs and feet, a long with arthritis all throughout my back and joints along with flat feet. These shoes have made a major difference in my ability to do my job and enjoy being active again. I would definitely buy these shoes again

I have long been a devoted New Balance Shoe wearer due to their great arch support. I went to Amazon to purchase my next pair and found these. My only complaint is the the inside support of the back of the heels immediately started trying to slide down inside the heel. I am having to use a shoe horn to put my feet inside every time after internally repositioning the heel to the correct position. It may just be a problem with the particular pair I received. Still works though.

Really can't say much about them because they did not fit. Been wearing an 8.5 Medium for years from many manufactures, but had such great difficulty getting the first one on, I didn't bother trying to put on the other wrestled it off my foot and back to Amazon in less than 5 minutes. Ordered in a Wide and we see how that goes, but if you regularly wear a medium order the wide. otherwise you'll be doing the same thing I am doing and driving it back to an Amazon return. Replaced with a Wide and they fit well and seem good so far, only have a couple days of power walks on them.

What, did you guys hire MI6 to break in while I was asleep and measure my feet perfectly? My beloved 990v4 after nearly 5 years, walked the planet, stood up to time like it didn't happen. Good looking and held together so well over the ages that you couldn't tell it wasn't really newish. Pay a little ahead, and don't pay later. Great shoe. My new puppy liked them too. So I got these 577v1 today and they are perfectly fitting my feet. And comfortable. If they survive 5 years as well as the last pair of NB I'll let your know.

This is my 2nd pair. I use it for work - and do a LOT of walking! The quality is high, solid insole, they havw lasted several years, and the outside surface does not fade - always looks new after just a wipe with a damp cloth. VERY SATISFIED :)

Years ago, I could select New Balance shoes that were made on specific lasts, and there was one that fit my feet perfectly - my toes trend to the inside (the big toe side) and there was a perfect last for my feet. This shoe may have an ample toe box, but there wasn't enough room on the big toe side, and I can't wear them. I returned them without a problem.
