I needed these for my nursing program, as I was using "Cloves" for some time, and we need all-white shoes. They are comfier, and provide a much more rigid support. However, even ordering the size I usually do (not based on my foot length, but average from big toe), they are a tight fit. The cushioning is great, and I love these shoes. I do wish they would make this in a "running shoe" with more grip and tread, but it works well. I ordered the non-wide, and they look wide, but don't feel loose. Great shoes.

Fit is good out of the box. Comfortable and stable. SL2 toe box makes the difference. Basically a stripped down 928 with a more flexible sole. One star off cuz the extra flex may become an issue over time.

I usually wear an X-narrow shoe (AA), but those are hard to find. I got this in narrow to check it out. It fits well and is very comfortable. It's also much cheaper than the X-narrow options available. I'll be getting this again in the future.

Hubby liked fit of New Balance and in black so like shoes vs sneakers. BUT this pair was very narrow, and too tight. We looked for exact number of last pair he got, but they are out of stock. MAYBE this pair in WIDE will get the job done.

These are the most comfortable New Balance shoes I have owned yet and I've been a customer for a lot of years now. They fit perfectly and are true to size. Very nice looking shoes. I LIVE A FEW MILES FROM THE NEW BALANCE OUTLET STORE AND BUY THE $150 PAIRS THERE FOR EVERYDAY HEAVY USE.....AND THEY ARE GREAT. BUT EVEN WHEN THEY STILL DO THE JOB, THEY BEGIN TO GET "UGLY" WEAR. SO I BOUGHT THESE CHEAPIES TO WEAR ONLY WHEN GOING OUT IN THE SUMMER. THEY ARE FINE. THEY STAY LOOKING BRAND NEW....BECAUSE I JUST DON'T WEAR THEM VERY OFTEN. VERY LITTLE ARCH SUPPORT, BUT I'M NOT DOING LOTS OF WALKING IN THEM AND THEY ARE PERFECTLY COMFORTABLE FOR GOING TO A RESTAURANT. NO QUESTION....THIS IS THE MUCH LOWER GRADE NEW BALANCE SHOE. first time purchased a wide shoe. I was having prior shoes rubbing a sore spot on my toe. This shoe is wide enough in front to eliminate that. Overall, the shoe provides great comfort for walking. I will purchase again.
