My husband had a couple pair of these shoes that he has worn out. He had been wearing a medium width but really needed a wide. He did not want to replace his because the were "worn in" and cost so much to replace. I saw these on Amazon as a returned pair at a great price and wide width. I bought them and he loves them. The quality was very good. However, my previous three pairs of American-Made shoes were better knowing American hands made them and I kept a person in America working. I will keep them because I need new shoes badly. Next time I will order the USA Made 990's V3, V5 or V6 unless the 577 v1's are returned to America. Gave it to my husband for fathers day gift early gift. He loves them very comfortable, he has one foot longer than the other and wide feet. I got him 1/2 size larger to accommodate his issue and extra wide it fit him very well. He was happy because it's so difficult to get shoes that fit well and are also very comfortable.
