I'm very happy with these sneakers. I generally need a 3E or extra wide fitting but was happy to discover that a wide fitting works well enough. And the sole is comfortable enough, even for my fallen arches! It is always hard to find shoes that look sleek when your feet are round. But these come pretty close to it. The shoe is composed of suede and mesh, so I don't imagine that it will be very durable in poor weather. But I bought them in navy blue and really like the look with jeans or chinos. In fact, I would probably buy another pair in black if they had them in my size. At $75, they aren't overpriced but not really cheap for only the occasional wear. But, overall, I think they were well worth the price, to wear in the summer, spring and even the fall before it gets wet. ... show more

I got these shoes because the 574 series that I have worn for over 10 years have apparently been phased out.; These are less expensive, but the sole appears to be almost identical to the 574. However, i noticed that they seemed less shock-absorbing than the 574's. I found out that the insole in these shoes is very thin and solid, rather than foam. I replaced the insoles with the ones from my 574's and the feel is great. I may try to get some generic insoles and cut them to fit after these get beat down. ... show more
