This is the third time I have purchased the 510. It's a pretty good shoe but not perfect. I need a roomy shoe due to my Morton's neuroma amd this one works for it. And I don't get the wide version. V5 seems to be a little more snug because I can't put my insoles inside and than get my foot in the shoe. Unfortunately most shoes come with flat (no arch support) and the 510 is no different. The shoe looks good (all black) and the other versions have worn well. It's not a springy soft shoe so if you are looking for a bag of marshmallows to strap to your feet this isn't it. The mesh does help to keep your feet cool. Add to your wishlist and watch it because the price fluctuates a lot.

My last pair of Newbies lasted 15 years with only the soles wearing thin. Those ancient 505's are now dirty project sneakers, because these new ones have become my daily's. + Great arch and heel support, with a good width for a secure footing. + Soles are a little stiff, great for uphill\stairs and that stompy feeling on flat\downhill. + Lightweight + The dadliest shoes ever made, because they're tough and super comfortable. + Still cheap. + Same style after decades. The new ones look pretty similar to my old pair, only much shinier\happier. After a month so far I have no complaints about these 510 V5's

Had good luck with this model over many months of moderate walking (15-20 miles per week) and around town use. Don't have any unusual foot issues and am not overweight. Was looking for a new pair of athletic shoes and saw this same model at a very modest price. Not sure why was offered at such a modest price but ordered it and arrived as expected and looks like it will fit the bill.

Sneakerheads disrespect New Balance, and yeah they may never charge $200 for a pair of sneakers. But they know all sorts of things about foot comfort, and for a guy who primarily works on his feet... you can take all those overpriced celebrity endorsed sneakers and shove em! New Balance for me!!

For the first time ever, my dad actually liked the shoes I picked. He loves these and wants them in white. They fit comfortably for him. He does a lot of walking around on different terrain. These shoes apparently work for such activities.

The NB 510 shoes were just what I was looking for, at a good price. The shoes arrived in good shape but the shoe box was crushed when received. Good thing it was shipped in a big plastic bag or it would have been a mess.
