These shoes are so much fun for little kids. We bought these for our Kindergarten age son, who is so excited to wear them and show them off to his friends. The "BOA" closure works perfectly, the button on the outer side of each shoe is easy for little hands to use. We bought these as well for our twin second graders who love them as well. Would definitey buy these again, sturdy shoes, bright colors, great overall design, fit: true to size, and super fun for our kids!

8 year old boy wears them. Loves them, we are on third pair due to growth. These have held up and looked nicer than the Adidas and Under Armor shoes I bought in August that both already have holes in them. NB seems to hold up the best to a very very active 8 year old. I love how it cranks closed. So much so I wish they had the same mechanism on adult shoes for me! It has held up well to daily use on the last 2 pairs, I really figured the string would break but didn’t. My son loves it and open and closes just to crank them down for fun so it really was tested a LOT so I give that a 10/10 on durability. I give the shoe 10/10 for durability overall as well! I will continue getting these as they are the best bang for the buck. The last pair I bought had lasted a year. It does look worn but no holes and still works well. His feet just grew out of them.

My son is not a fan of laces, so when I saw these, it looked like an interesting concept that would be different from Velcro. These are amazing! Not only are they colorful and look like they are high-quality shoes, the system is simple to use. You simply pull up on the knob and it releases the side laces to easily put the shoe on. Then you press the button back in and twist the knob to tighten the shoe. My five-year-old can do it easily and everyone that sees them thinks they’re really cool!

We love these shoes, and continue to size up as kiddo grows. Highly durable, great value, comfortable and have great traction. No laces / Velcro are a plus - kiddo is able to keep shoes tight throughout the day and easy peasy to take on and off.

Great for my daughter who is still mastering tying her shoes and while we can practice that at home, I don’t have to worry about her tripping over shoelaces at school. Quick easy shoe to get on and off. Love the boa system. The only downside I’ve noticed so far is that she’s been wearing them about a month and part of the grip tread on the bottom of the shoe is already coming undone from the sole 😑 I’ll have to see if superglue helps. Too expensive for it to be coming apart already.

Ok, I never possessed the talent to teach my kids how to tie their shoelaces. It is an art that requires patience and a lot of zen from both parties. These shoes!!!! I don’t buy anything else! Both my kids love it and so do their teachers!! My son swears by its boosting abilities. The mechanism used to tighten is solid! I’ve had no issues. I keep buying because it’s the only shoes my kids will use and they wear it out!!!! Love it! Make more colors.
