Absolutely loved them!! They were definitely a hit with everyone that past us laying in them. Recommend 1000% They are a bit different to inflate but luckily I had someone that could do it. Even with the beach wind we had to run to inflate them. I’ve had 4 back surgeries and physically can not run. Make sure that you are closing the end and rolling it as soon as you stop running or the air all comes back out. My kids really loved having these at the beach and both the 14 year old and 3 year old loved to nap in them. They are super easy to inflate on a windy beach. Most of the time, I would just open it above my head and with one jerk over my head into the wind and it was full. I loved the added pockets and never used the included spike (mostly because we took the chairs in our backpacks on the plane and the spikes were in our checked bag which I always forgot to grab). I found that placing a couple of towels on them would prevent them from flying away. On one particular beach, I had to clip the chair to the strap on my backpack to hold it in place. Having that giant clip on the chairs makes it easy to attach to a folding chair or canopy pole/cord. The reason my headline says not just for the beach was due to us carrying them in our personal item backpacks on the plane. We all shared one checked bag so we needed to save the weight for clothes so we decided to carry the chairs with us. We were so lucky to have them with us when we realized we didn't have anywhere to sleep on our 1 am to 8 am layover! I remembered that we had the chairs in our backpacks and proceeded to run around the airport terminal to inflate them. I am sure people laughed until they saw what the end result was! I had some of the best sleep on this lounger even with a 3 year old on my lap! When we woke up, there were a lot of people around us asking what these things were and wanted to take pictures of the bag they came in. This also happened on the beach as well. I was surprised that I didn't see anyone else on our beach vacation with chairs like this. We helped spread the news! The only minor issue with these is that they do leak air over time. It is a very slow leak and I was able to sleep on them for 5 hours and still be comfortable when I woke up. When you fill them super full (recommended by me), it is easy to adjust them for air leaks... Simply unclip the end and roll it tighter. The chair is very long and you can do this a few times and still have plenty of room. I would (and have) recommend these to anyone! Carry them with you when you think you might need a nap! ... show more

I bought these for my boys. They are huge gamers. I thought they could lounge back & have at it, that's exactly what they do. They use a fan, similar to a box fan, to fill them with air & they lay back for hours. They use them for movie night too. For those wondering if it won't hold you, it will. Inflating: I have to admit that the first time it sprinted 15 feet across the lawn with arms outstretched, holding this thing aloft like a crazed lepidopterist, I felt a bit foolish. If you wear your ego on your sleeve, I have two bits of advice: 1. Practice alone 2. All or nothing. A tentative trot will not generate the wind you need on a calm day. Own it and run like you mean it. The results will speak for themselves. Pro tip: leaf blower. Using: This is not a chair. Or a couch. Sitting on it like that will not be comfortable unless you are 10 and getting up gracefully is a great source of entertainment for everyone else. As a lounger however - as a ground based hammock - it's superb. I think that's why for the description they just took four comforting words and put them together. "lounger hangout sofa bed..." This is not a thing for sitting at attention. It is not a thing for correct posture or using stemware. This is for full on owning your lazy side, getting all comfy, and daring anyone to ever ask you to get up again (or until the air leaks out). Your view may be trees and sky more than landscape and people but the level of lassitude you are reaching for here is more on the lines of a sun baked lizard than a pert and witty partygoer. For that they have folding chairs. This is not that and it does not pretend to be. Going back to the 10 year old reference: I've found that three athletic girls can sit side by side on one and slip deep into their giggling, tale telling worlds no problem. Somewhere between 10 and 40 (or between 80 and 200lbs) the math changes. Find your own truth, there. Put these in the boat or take to the beach and the onshore breeze will be your friend. ... show more

I've had mine for around a year now. It's been with me to the beach, camping, parks, etc. It's the most comfortable thing I've been on, even fell asleep stargazing in the middle of the desert with it. The only reason for the 3 stars is that it recently tore. For no apparent reason it just split up and I fell right through. It only had normal use and I always ensured it was on something soft and safe away from anything sharp. It looked like the seems gave out and completely tore off. I still have the second one, which I hope it lasts longer, so I can still enjoy night skies full of stars. I still recommended it for the price and comfort. ... show more
