Thickness is noted here for part of the review, first of all, you don't need a "thick" liner in a bag, a good liner should function because it is sew well, and has a good zipper. This is thin, it's sewn well, but I would give the zipper three stars if there was an option. It worked exactly as described, I used it in a zero bag in Madison, WI while quarantining and taking care of my sister who had just had surgery. I was toasty warm the whole time I was there, the coldest temp I hit was 28 degrees with ice and rain. - I used this on a tent cot, with a double rainfly, and ventilation all night. This product is well-made -- however, it might have shrunk in the wash. It no longer fits my Mondo King Therma Rest (too short).

    • Improve the warmth of your bag
This is a great sleeping bag liner. At 5'10" and 200bs it is roomy enough for me. I use it in conjunction with my sleeping bag for winter camping. This liner has always been comfortable and greatly increases the warmth rating of my bag. I have a bag rated for 5 degrees and when I use this liner it can actually make it too warm for winter camping in northern Arkansas on some winter nights. I imagine this liner would be good to use by itself during late spring or early fall when there is a slight chill in the air. I would recommend this liner for people who like to stay warm when they sleep. ... show more

I recently bought this two days before I was set to leave on a 5 day Appalachian Trail section hike. We were up in Vermont and the rain was making things difficult. At night we were wet and the temperatures were dropping down to about 39. This liner took my lite bag and made it a heat holding life saver. It also doubled nicely as a wrap while boiling water and just keeping the chill off. I absolutely hate the cold. My trail name is heater for a reason. This has several uses, something that is a must to be in my bag, and I highly recommend it. Would be great alone for warmer temps. A+ ... show more

    • Came with Pink/ Purple Zippers!!!
When I ordered two blue ones of those I had no idea they would give me a pink and purple zippers!!! Black Zipper was what I was expecting and what it shows in the picture.

    • Kept me warm and packs relatively small.
Used this on a two night camping trip where the temps got down to 29 and 22. I can't sleep if I get too cold and while it didnt keep me toasty, it helped keep me warm enough that I actually slept. It's roomy (roomier than my actual sleeping bag) and also makes a great barrier between chemical heat packs and the body. Loved that it had the zipper all the way around. It's easy to clean and packs up to a nice small size. Fits perfectly in my pack. I am betting it will work great in the summer instead of a lightweight sleeping bag too. ... show more
