I use the sunscreen daily on my face and neck. I have no issues with any sort of cast or true oiliness coming from this product. It rubs in well on your face and neck and provides a little bit of a glow if you do not cover it with any other products or makeup. This provides great sun protection and kept my face and neck from getting burned even when on the beach and other body sunscreen did not prevent the rest of me from burning. Reapplying the product multiple times in a few hours span did not result in any issues or consistency problems on the skin. I’m always trying to find a good sunscreen for my face that won’t leave a white cast or an orange cast. I’m also not made of money so spending $40 on sunscreen is not ideal, especially when you’re needing to apply it 4 or 5 times per day. This is good, ABSOLUTELY ZERO white cast. It does leave a sheen, which I know some people like. Very moisturizing and light odor. Kinda chemically smell but nothing too bad. The cons, it’s extremely small. I will go through this in about 2 weeks. Looks like a travel size. Maybe I didn’t read that in the description? So you’re almost paying the same as you do for the 40$+ ones and it burns a little after you apply. Nothing terrible but I’d prefer no burning. ... show more

It’s not the worst sunscreen I’ve tried, but definitely not the best either. It’s pretty oily and will definitely cause me to break out if I leave it on all day. Other than that, it’s easy to rub in and doesn’t leave me pale-faced.

For the size, it last a lot. With one FULL pump, I can cover my entire forehead. 3 generous pumps covers my neck and entire face. It does spread generously. Little goes a long way. It does leave a slightly oil feeling but it’s NOT heavy. You just feel it, if that makes sense but it’s not like oh my god I have something in my face. The formula feels light. After a few minutes it dries nicely. You do feel it slightly on your face. The top locks into place if you slide it left and unlocks when sliding it right. GREAT for travel. It’s lasted me > month and I use this 5 times a week 2 times a day application. My ONLY issue is that it does feel like I have something on my face, but I am picky. I've been using this sunscreen daily for about three months. I have somewhat dry skin, but it is also very acne prone. This is the only sunscreen I have tried that does not break me out and does not leave a white cast. I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS. It goes on shiny, but soaks in after a little bit.

I am very slow to purchase new face SPF moisturizers as I am always concerned about white casts that'll turn my dark skin a different color on wear & strong scents. I checked this out due to the price on Amazon (cheapest I could find anywhere, thankfully seems to be generally the case for Neutrogena products!) and wanted to give it a shot. I will probably use this intermittently with the Cerave SPF 30 that comes in a flexible tube (not the hard AM bottle as that contains a zinc oxide that gives off a gray cast) as it is comparable in wear, feel, scent (none), moisturizing ability, and coverage. The pink coloring of the sunscreen may be offputting but I did not notice a difference in my complexion's shading or color under sunlight and two types of indoor lighting. I do need to give this sunscreen an extra minute or two to settle into my skin and occasionally put a layer of Cerave's moisturizing cream underneath to get a tad more moisture. However this is not necessary and only a personal preference as a way to stretch out the product longer (not recommended so you can get full SPF coverage). I'd say I use about 3-4 pumps each use, 4 pumps with no added moisturizer, 3 pumps with added. Without opening the bottle there is no way to tell how much product is left over but this is typical for most opaque hard bottle beauty products. I will purchase again!' Works GREAT for me, I have dark skin and stubble and it doesn't give me any of the usual problems. Completely non-greasy and the SPF definitely works, used it for the past couple weeks hiking in the Andes, right on the equator, and didn't even get tan.
