Nest diffusers are the best! The scents are always lovely and never smell "artificial" or cheap (I have tried several scents). Plus, they actually diffuse and fill a room, unlike those weak diffusers that you can't detect the aroma of unless your nose is inches away from the reeds. Grapefruit scent is very bright and clean like you would imagine a citrus scent to be. I use it in my master bathroom. It is very large for bathroom but it is still not as big as most rooms you would use a diffuser in, so the scent is quite strong the first few weeks. But even when the scent is very strong, it is never cloying or too much. The Nest diffusers seem to last about 8-10 weeks in my house. I live in a mild climate with a fair bit of moisture in the air - these diffusers might last longer or shorter for you depending on the average temperature and humidity in your house. ... show more

These Nest fragrance diffusers are absolutely, bar none, the BEST. They have the most unoffensive, unperfumy scents, come quality packed and last quite some time. This grapefruit scent is my latest and just like the three prior ones I have purchased, I was not let down. The scent is definitely sweet and citrusy and of course uplifting and fresh - lets get ready for Spring! I have also purchased the Blue Garden and Moroccan Amber (2) diffusers with the Moroccan Amber being my favorite. I was ALWAYS on the prowl for a great home diffuser (until discovering Nest) and was always let down by the overwhelming scents that lasted 7 days or they smelled like chemicals, or they were extremely expensive, or required flames, or were just plain ugly. I am extremely sensitive to scents and smells. I have to get fragrance free dryer sheets and lotions and The Yankee Candle store is my own personal hell. I had found a scent years ago, by Method, called Pink Grapefruit and it was perfect...until the company stopped making plug-ins. I have searched and searched for a tolerable room air freshener only to get one home and find that, yes it is a lovely fragrance, but it becomes overpowering and it's all I can taste and smell. I took a gamble ordering the Nest scent reeds online without having smelled it. I am so delightfully surprised that it is almost identical to the Method brand. The grapefruit is a clean citrus scent that is subtle and not overwhelming. It is strongest in the room it is placed in, so I put it in the sitting room. The fragrance has traveled to the rest of the house in lighter notes that freshens without overtaking. I like that the grapefruit scent isn't heavy or perfumey.
