I love having little nerf-sets to play around with. This cricket one is quite well done, the ball doesn't bounce very much but as a whole the set is fun to play around with. My biggest drawback is that the wickets don't have a stand so you can play indoors. The bat is a good length for kids,not adult who wants to jump in and it comes it two balls and the bails. The set is made of decent quality foam. I wish it had come with instructions though since not everyone is familiar with how to play cricket. Also wish it would have come with some type of storage bag. My nieces and nephews started off playing cricket but since they aren't too familiar with the game and were unsure of the rules, they used the bat and balls to play baseball. ... show more

This NERF Foam Cricket Set was actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be! Having never played cricket myself I wasn’t really sure what to do. Unfortunately this set doesn’t come with any rules or anything like that, but that’s what Utube is for! We busted this set out for the first time when my son had his family birthday party last week and we had a blast playing with his cousins and some of us adults. It’s pretty much a foam bat and ball so it isn’t going to hurt younger kids or older adults playing, but still holds up perfectly fine to regular play. Well build set that is foam all around, even the balls and the wicket set. Upon inspection everything is built and made to a great manufacturing standard. I took one star off as I found the lack of instruction a bit off putting. I know it is a cricket set, but there are so many rules one can remember and it would have been nice to include just the basic rule set. Also a drawstring bag for the set would have been nice, but not a deal breaker there. - Comes with 2 foam balls - Great for starting out Finally a foam set to teach youth players and for the family rather than the hard ball and the real bat. The media could not be loaded. I've never played cricket. But son kind of collects Nerf, if the hoard of guns in the basement mean anything. Looked up a few instructions and played in the yard. We don't have 20+ people, but still managed to have fun. The bat and wickets are foam over a plastic core. I can't say for sure that people getting hit with the bat was completely an accident, but I can say that no one got hurt. The balls are all sponge. No core at all, so totally safe to (accidently) hit someone with it. Overall a good addition to our (his) Nerf collection. ... show more

    • A fun alternative to real cricket
I have not been able to play cricket since years until I happened upon this set. I can use these to have a nice one on one cricket in my garage and there is no danger of a window breaking or hurting someone in the area. It comes with a bat, 3 wickets and 2 balls and they are lightweight, like most of the Nerf sets. But fun to play and enjoy. ... show more

    • Cool NERF Cricket Set!
I thought I took some photos of the cricket said but I think I left them at home. Anyway, this is a really cool set--you get a fairly realistic looking green NERF cricket bat, two balls and what the product description incorrectly refers to as 'three plastic wickets'. In actuality, you get the parts for one wicket. The three big upright parts are called 'stumps' and the two smaller pieces that go across the stumps are called 'bails'. That said, you're able to construct a very serviceable wicket. One minor gripe--I wish there was some way to keep the stumps upright without having to put them in the ground. It would be great to play indoors, but that's not possible with the design of the stumps. Otherwise, a really fun cricket set! ... show more
