**EDIT** Wore the dress once and washed it in cold water. Hung to dry. It faded and has pilling now. My washing machine is a year old. I used regular detergent and the regular setting. I just received the second dress and decided to return it. I don't want the same thing to happen. I am so bummed out. It's still a pretty dress but I won't be wearing it except for around the house/running errands. If you read this, please wash in the gentle cycle. Maybe it will make a difference. I have many dresses from this brand. I have one that is about 5 years old. That is what my brand new dress now looks like after one wear and one wash. :( This dress is absolutely beautiful! I love it. I tried it on the day I got it and my husband's face lit up when I showed him. He said I looked beautiful and that it was very flattering. The colors are true to what you see online. It's comfy! We live in FL and I am not sure I would wear it outside on a humid day but I would totally wear it on a cooler day or all day indoors. The material isn't super breathable (at least to me). I got the 18 plus but I think I could have gone down a size as it's kind of loose in the chest area to where it sags a little when I lean over and when sitting. I am 5'5", 44B. I usually wear a 16W-18W in dresses and an 18W in pants/jeans. I have broad shoulders and ribs but a smaller waist...hourglass. If you are heavy chested, please note that you might be showing a lot of cleavage. I put on a cotton cami underneath and it was perfect. I think this would be great for all occasions. Please also note that the slit is kind of "high'ish". On a windy day, you might be holding it down. A pair of boy shorts/bike shorts might do the trick on a more casual occasion. You could probably put a few stitches (if you sew) at each slit or pin it to keep it a little more modest. It didn't bother me as it wasn't like one could see my undergarments or anything. The sleeves fit just right. The belt cinched my waist a little. It would be cute with heels, flats, booties, sandals etc. You can throw on a jean jacket with some leggings and boots for a cool fall look. Love the comfort and pockets on this dress!! The tie only covers the front which I also like, I’m not a fan of ties around my waist. The slit on the sides make it perfect for warmer summer weather. This dress is super comfy, fits well, and is flattering like most dresses from this shop. However, any part of the dress that comes in contact with anything else develops pilling. My stomach area (because I'm pregnant) and chest have lots of pilling in the fabric while the rest is intact.

I needed a black dress fast for an upcoming evening wedding and was not going to be able to go shopping in person to try stuff on. I hit upon this brand, unknown to me, but had several styles I knew would work and a lot of good reviews about fitting as expected and draping well and soft material, all of which I look for. It was an excellent price and was set to arrive the next day, 2 days before we had to leave. Everything fell into place. Dress arrived in time, was a perfect and actually flattering fit, and I paired it with a dressy shawl. It worked perfectly, and within 2 weeks, I needed it again for a funeral. It worked perfectly for that, too. I’m happy to have it washed and ready to go on a cruise next month as it also packed very well-wrinkles just shook right out.
