This 20-volt lithium-ion battery is a replacement battery for the NEIKO 10878A cordless automotive torque wrench. Our 4.0-ampere-hour lithium-ion rechargeable battery has a rated voltage of DC 20 V. This small but powerful battery is the perfect option for all mechanics because of how quickly it charges. It features a light indicator that shows when the battery level is at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. This battery is made to be used with only the NEIKO 10878A high-pressure wrench. It does not come with the charger unit or impact wrench, but they are available to purchase separately. The NEIKO 10878A 20-volt 1/2-inch-drive cordless impact wrench delivers heavy-duty performance for all your fastening needs. The 1/2-inch square driver and motor provide 300 ft-lb of incredible torque power, and the motor can maintain an impact frequency of 0 to 3,500 bpm with a no-load speed of 0 to 3,000 rpm to deliver high performance every time. Our 1/2-inch-drive socket-wrench set comes with an impact wrench that is powered by the 20-volt 4.0-ampere-hour lithium-ion battery, removing the hassle of cords and wires. When I first got the driver and used it, I was happy with the performance and battery life. Overall torque was good (checked against Snap On torque wrench) and consistent. I use this as an emergency tool when I travel with my RV trailer and used it about 8 times over the last 5 months. Today I tried to use it and the battery was dead. Nothing shows on the battery indicator and steady green light on the charger. Not sure if it’s a bad charger or battery. I have contacted the manufacturer so we will see how that goes. Right now it is a useless paperweight and I am not spending $61.00 to buy a new battery. I have DeWalt and Makita battery tools that the batteries last years in some cases. I will update when I hear back from the Manufacturer. Right now I can not recommend just based on it breaking so soon after delivery. (Check last UPDATE) UPDATE: Amazon not helpful. Had to go direct to Neiko. After a week they ask for recpt and picture which I sent the next day. 3 days later they email me and say they will contact me when my replacement ships. Sounds good right? Two weeks...nothing from them. I reach out again, nothing back in response. Crickets. Even more frustrated with this manufacturer with the lack of communication. LAST UPDATE - A new replacement tool showed up today via Fed Ex. They did not tell me is shipped but I guess they handled it and here it is. Brand new. I have not tested it yet but I am assuming all in good order. I have changed my stars to 4 stars because their Customer Service did follow up and provide replacement with not too much fuss. ... show more

yes value for money. first impact wrench purchase ever. took a long time to decide which model to buy. wanted it for automotive work and building fence. charger and accessory nice, but I gotta say the item did not work. I could not believe it. batt fully charged and tried to loosen typical 12mm nut on a car. made noise but no torque at all. I knew right away that this one is a defect. after years of being Prime member, my first return ... customer service, the best. rep was easy to get hold of and chatted 5 minutes. and he says I'll get the replacement next day. I chose replacement rather than refund. I made a good purchase as I do believe many positive reviews to be true. so got the replacement and tried it out. worked great. this will be my only 1/2 in impact for years. name brand tools sooo expensive. and I do have Makita and Dewalt pwr cordless tools. Dewalt blower amd Makita multitool ... these are best tools I ever had. worth the extra cost. For 1/2 in impact cordless 20V and cordless grinder I went with cheaper brand. happy with those cheaper brands too. one more thing... Kimo cordless reciprocating saw was a great buy. Returning the defect item was easy. went to UPS Store and printed return label and shipped it out. I only took out the impact wrench out of the replacement package and put the bad one in. will goto UPS store. easy return process made me happy, so 5 stars ! ... show more

Probably one of my fav purchases on Amazon. A friend of mine had it and told me about it so i just bought it word of mouth. Batter life is great, power is great. I was using the traditional 4 way bar to change wheels when i take my car to the track, this cuts that time down in half at least. Ive had this for over a year before giving a review. Recently my wife had a tire blow out on the highway and i havent charged the impact in over a year and to my surprise it still has a full battery from sitting in the garage in the blistering cold and now flaming heat… if i could rate it a 6 i would. (Id say best use on the avg everyday car nothing super heavy duty) ... show more

I work in the tow industry. I have been changing tires for light service calls for awhile and it does take a toll on ur hands after using a 4 way for some time. Hands swelling and hand pain. So i knew i needed help with tire calls and well i went through looking for impacts and thinking well i need one but they are really expensive. But after i found this one the price was where i wanted to spend on one. My only problem was thinking well i pay this much and not top dollar it will not last. I was wrong the pure joy of this thing of making a 15 min tire change into a 5 min tire call is awsome. It's well made and the battery last up to about 3 days before i have to charge it. But i do work in tow so the amount of calls i use this for is slim. But when i do need it i know i can count on it. ... show more

I wanted an impact wrench for all the weekend vehicle repairs I do, but didn't want a pneumatic setup. I also didn't want to spend the $300+ that my mechanic friends spent on their cordless impacts. This impact, combined with a 1/2" master impact socket set, is the greatest tool. It saves so much time, and makes taking off rusted bolts a breeze. I haven't tested the actual torque rating, but no nuts or bolts have been able to beat it yet. 1 Year Update: I have been using the impact wrench for a year now, almost every weekend. It looks a lot worse than it did originally (covered in oil stains and has been dropped a time or two), but it still works just as well as it did when I pulled it out of the box. The battery will easily last me for the projects I do. I replaced the entire front end, wheel bearings, and struts on my truck and still had half the battery left. For anyone who is looking for an impact wrench to use here and there, I would highly recommend this one. ... show more

I have never been so impressed with the tool as I am with this impact wrench.. I had to repack the bearings on my 4 tire trailer and this wrench zipped the lug nuts off and on even though they'd been sitting for years. Then I went in my backyard and worked worked on the seat of my tractor, loosening two old rusted 11/16" nuts. After all that work, I still had 3 bars of original factory charge on the battery. I would give this 10 stars. Carrying case and sockets a great addition. Two days later, I changed out the 1 1/16" lug nuts on the front tires of the tractor... Still have three bars of original factory charge on the battery. Up to 11 stars... ... show more
