This is my go-to, cover-weight paper. I use it for everything from printing postcards and flyers, to card making, to general paper crafting. Its bright white, matte finish accepts printer inks beautifully. My all-in-one printer doesn’t have a straight-through printing path. All paper has to curve up and around - this paper has never jammed my printer in all of the years I’ve used it (I reorder this paper regularly). The paper absorbs inkjet inks well enough that there’s no smearing, even if I allow multiple copies of photos to pile up in the printer tray. But at the same time, the inks dry nice and bright for a matte paper. (Inks are never quite as bright on matte as on glossy paper). I also use this paper regularly in papercrafting. The paper is heavy enough for postcards, but scores and creases smoothly for cardmaking. This is also my go-to paper with my Cricut (paper cutter) and my embossing machine. It cuts beautifully, even for quite intricate cuts like the snowflake designs I’ve included in my sample photos. I love the white-on-white embossed effects I can get with this paper, too. And it doesn’t tend to buckle when working with glues, so long as I don’t go overboard. I’ve also painted these papers with acrylics, dyes and water colors. The paper buckles while it’s wet, but tends to dry surprisingly flat. It’s also a fantastic value - at less than $10 for a 250 sheet ream after sales tax, it’s still under 5 cents/sheet. Which means I often use this when I’m prototyping designs, before cutting into my more expensive papers. I’ve included a number of photos from recent crafting to show some of how I use this paper. I was concerned about this paper, after ordering, and THEN reading the negative reviews, regarding it purportedly not being cardstock, or too thin of a cardstock style. I just received the paper and immediately checked it. I found that this IS cardstock, but not really heavy cardstock. I would say that this cardstock meets the needs of most ordinary people, doing standard work with it (i.e. greeting cards, postcards, fliers, 'tents' for tables, etc.). If you want to make business cards, you most likely will want a heavier paper. I am happy with the product. One item that I was not happy with was the delivery, but this has nothing to do with the product itself, so I did not lower the product rating. The delivery folks left the package sitting about two feet from my door, standing straight up, in full view from the sidewalk. They did not try to put it next to the house wall, or under the big doormat. They also just left the package and did not bother to ring the doorbell, or knock on the door. I found the package by accident, when I went out for my paper. UPDATE I just completed making two, 2-year calendars using this cardstock. The paper fed perfectly from the tray, printing all pages without a jam. I am happy.

I purchased this cardstock to use for paper crafts back in October. My item arrived in perfect condition and the wrapper had no rips or tears. The paper was also in perfect condition, no crinkles or rips, no black spots, and each page was the exact size as the other. The card stock was not super sturdy or as thick as expected and was maybe about twice as thick as my index cards and those are pretty flimsy. I used the cardstock to print, cut out, and assemble a haunted house for Halloween and later a paper star lantern and a Christmas house that I made using the Amityville Horror house template. I didn't have a problem printing on the card stock using my HP Envy 4500. My printer's specs said it could print up to 200 gsm and I had no problem with jams while using it. I only inserted 12 pages into the printer at a time just in case. The sections of cardstock that had 2 layers glued together were nice and sturdy and obviously, the sections with only one layer were flimsy. I had to apply the glue super thin to prevent the card stock from rippling/waving so much but I also painted the entire Amityville house with acrylic craft paint and the waving wasn't too bad. This cardstock did the job I intended to use it for and at this price I can't complain. I wouldn't have been able to use anything thicker with my printer model so check your printer's specs before purchasing.

I can write on this paper with a thick black gel pen, and the ink does not bleed through to the other side. I like how this paper feels as I glide my hand over it while writing. It’s definitely a texture thing. Happily, it is smooth not rough. I use it daily at work. I prefer the feeling of this paper more than costly paper in notepads, and it’s less expensive per page.
