I bought this desk because I needed more space to be able to write and work and I also wanted to have my PC tower on the desk where it had better ventilation. When I first got it I assembled it pretty easy and had some of the issues that other reviewers had said, it seemed unsturdy and I was confused as to how some people thought that it was a very stable desk. I read a couple of tips on how to make it more sturdy and none of them really helped. I set the desk up, put my PC and monitors on but was very unhappy with the unstableness of it. When I typed my monitors shook and I was concerned that it might just break down. So I took everything off, flipped it back over and worked on it to make it more stable. As I sat on my bedroom floor, staring at the desk and considering the hassle of sending it back I had an epiphany. This is a fine desk, in fact it is incredibly sturdy the only problem was my mechanical ineptitude. You have to use an Allen wrench to screw the screws in and while I was putting the legs on I realized was holding the wrench by the small side in order to screw the screws in faster. I didn't even realize that if I flipped the wrench around and held the long part in my hand that I would gain more leverage and thus screw the screws in even more. I did this and was shocked by how much more the screws went in. I would have been embarrassed by my idiocy if I was not overcome with joy. Thank goodness I didn't need to send this desk back. I have been using it for a few weeks and it has been awesome. If you have problems with it being wobbly just try flipping your Allen wrench around because it really is that simple of a fix.

Received the desk today and I was quite happy with the way it was packaged.; It arrived without damage (phew!). I was pleasantly surprised that the only assembly was to attach the legs to the frame. The frame was already attached to the top. The desk is reasonably sturdy - if you push hard enough it wobbles a very little bit. This in no way affects its performance as a desk IMHO. I was able to easily attach my keyboard tray ( 3M Keyboard Tray with Sturdy Wood Platform, Simply Turn Knob to Adjust Height and Tilt for Comfort, Swivels and Stores Under Desk, Gel Wrist Rest and Precise Mouse Pad, 17" Track, Black (AKT60LE) . This tray is adjustable so it can be raised and lowered to clear the front frame. NOTE: if you have a non-adjustable tray, the frame will be in the way. Check out the product link above for the one I use. Assembly hint: Each leg attaches with 2 bolts and they provide an allen wrench. Screw the bolts in by hand and the just snug them up with the allen wrench. TIghten one bolt (don't overdo it), and then the other. Go back to the first bolt and tighten a bit more and the repeat with the second bolt.

We have ordered many desks from the NEED company. All of their products are of high quality modern designs and only one time one of our desks came in a bit chipped on the corner and they were so kind to give us 99 percent off on the next purchase!!!! Imagine that! This is the best customer service you could get. Yes there are some reviews down here that the desk came in a bit damaged but the customer service is outstanding. If reach out to the company they are willing to fix it or do a partial refund. Damages do happen anyway you can’t expect everything to come in excellent shape but the fact that the company takes care of you as a customer makes them reliable to do business with. The desk is a strong, very easy to assemble, and comes in with all the parts and bits and pieces so you don’t need anything extra.

This replaces a much smaller desk and what a difference. It looks and feels great. Lots of room and very well made considering the low price. Assembly took 5 minutes. The wood top is already bolted to the aluminum outline frame so there is no alignment or stripping of the particle board to worry about. Just two hex bolts on each leg. The kit comes with an simple allen wrench but it goes much faster if you have power tools. The only surprise was the monitor mount. I already had a dual monitor stand I bought many years ago from Monoprice for my two dell 24" screens but quickly realize the two clamping bolts would not clear the metal outline frame. Thankfully, the height of the frame from the wood is exactly 1.5 inches which is the same as the nominal thickness of a 2x4 (remember 2x4's are 1.5 inch x 3.5 inch and not actually 2 inch x 4 inch :)). So I just sandwich in a scrap piece I had and done. See the attached picture. It does have some wobble to it because of the lack of cross support between the legs and table top. But having those would take away the leg room I suppose. Only really noticeable if you are doing something very aggressive on it. Normal typing and mouse moving are perfectly smooth. UPDATE: One thing I noticed was that the edges of the table top are very sharp. They tend to irritate your arms and wrists after a while of using it. Running your finger along an edge, you easily feel it. I ended up running a file along them to give a little bit of roundness. And I mean a TINY bit - it takes very little to take off the edge - like 2-3 passes depending on how aggressive the file is. Take off to much and you might start eating at the glue. If you dont have a metal file you can do it with a simple nail file, it will just take longer.

The media could not be loaded. UPS arrived with the delivery earlier than expected. She advised me to check it immediately. It looked like the box had been stabbed 4-5 times. To my amazement, NO damage!. I was relieved. I bought this table during their sale. I was able to save a lot of money on an easy to assemble, good looking table. My existing table was 47 inches and I needed more table space for my new desktop that will soon arrive. My boom arm and flight seem fits perfectly with this table.
