I didn’t want to go to the eye doctor and drop $400 on a pair of glasses. It’s been 6 months and these glasses are still in perfect condition. Is it the same quality as my expensive glasses? Overall, the glasses are great. Lightweight, fit well and clear. The only downside is, whatever you do, don’t let them fall off the top of your head or drop them. They crack on the frame, lens falls out. I’ve had to replace once already. And already dropped another, sigh. If they didn’t break so easily, I’d give 5 stars. They arrive in plastic sleeves and another drawstring fabric bag over this. Separate, so you have a little cover for each if you need to put in your purse. I am in the midst of cataract treatment. My optometrist recommended these in -2 strength as a transition between my current prescription, which is horrendously strong, and whatever new glasses I will need in a couple months, once both eyes are healed from surgery.
