The media could not be loaded. So Amazon sent us this 6ft silk tree the other day. But my wife and I didnt order it so we have been trying to figure out the mystery of how it got ordered. Today we realized that Alexa ordered it for us. Alexa heard me talking from the other room and somehow thought I said to order a tree and when she asked "should I complete this order?" Our potbelly pig Mu oinked and it thought I answered yes. so in conclusion....Our potbelly pig ordered this tree. And now her facebook page has had many likes because of it. This is my 3rd purchase from this seller and they have not failed me yet. These trees are really nice and natural looking. I have a narrow strip along a neighboring fence where i wanted to plant trees for more privacy. Unfortunately, the bed is not deep enough and only has 3 inches of dirt on top of cement. I decided to purchase the trees and prayed I could pull off the look i was going for. WELL I DID! I initially ordered 3 trees (max allowed by the seller). They looked so nice i bought 4 more. I then bought clay planters from a local pottery and went to Michael's and purchased artificial flowers, grass and moss to complete the finishing touch. I also came up with a little trick to turn my 7ft trees into 8ft trees. I put bricks in the bottom of the clay planter, then inserted a plastic planter on top where the tree sits. This raises the insert almost a foot. I put outdoor styrofoam around the tree trunk to keep it from moving from side to side. I then stuck the artificial grass and flowers in the foam and covered with rocks. I covered the ground with brown rubber mulch. Everyone thinks they are real and I have received so many compliments.

Looks great! My home is decorated in a Conservatory theme, but I do not have the lighting to grow a huge beautiful tree like this indoors. This tree was just the ticket. Now, if you get within, say 4 feet of the tree and are looking directly at it to determine if it is real or not, you can tell it is fake. From any further away though, (barring someone with superhuman eagle eyes) it looks real. I love when I have a fan on, and the leaves move so naturally just like in an outdoor breeze. I will be buying another one of these! People keep moaning about the tiny pot it comes in, but I'm not sure why. Everyone has different decorating tastes and styles. You will want to put this tree in a pot that matches your decor. Plus, if they ship it in a bigger pot, that will just cost more. The tiny pot is perfect. Mine did not arrive broken, and only a few little stones spilled. Here's a tip: Get a large decorative pot to put the tree in. Inside the pot, put bottled water and canned food to support the tree from underneath and around the sides. Tuck in some baby wipes, antibacterial ointment, a can opener, flashlight and some trash bags. Cover this with a square of cardboard cut to fit the opening of the pot. On top of the cardboard you can put river rocks or Spanish moss. Now you not only have a very sturdy support for your lovely tree, but you have just prepared yourself to live through a temporary loss of power/water. People always want to rush out in advance of a big storm, but you won't need to!

So naturally arrived quickly around 10ish in the morning thanks to trusty Prime! It comes wrapped up in a box like this it's tall and light. Once you get it out you have to fix the leaves. In the picture I didn't do too much. Still debating if I'm going to leave it here or the bf's going to want it elsewhere. You'll probably need a new pot unless you balance it properly but on its own it's about 75" -76". I was initially worried about how tall it was going to be but it fits perfectly, not too tall at all. I also provided closer up photos in case you're nitpicky like I can be sometimes. Upon closer examination you can see some glue globs but to me that isn't a deal breaker you can always fix that. This is definitely a great size tree for the price. Most trees this size can range you 100-200. I'm absolutely satisfied!

I bought two of these trees, one used for under $40 and one like new for about $50. I am using them in the space above my front door. For the price, they were way better than what I saw at the craft stores which charged well over $100. They look decent enough. I went to the dollar store and got 8 flowers to decorate them in and added fake grass. They come in a small cement flower pot that I put inside a large pot. For my set up, the larger pot is screwed into the wood and the tree is tethered to the larger pot from behind so it can old fall into the corner. I have no regrets on buying these. Really like them. I use black 5 gallon buckets at pots, and then later filled them with rocket rock to give a more realistic look. Very nice! Gives the porch a fresh look and no maintenance .
