This mat has great features for the $. I shoot prone for hours varmint "hunting". I walk to stands, carry all gear, vs driving and was looking for a lightweight mat w a shoulder strap. This worked perfectly, large size, yet packs to a small roll. easy to deploy. rubberized pads for elbows and knees. All you need to lay on the ground nice colors and the price point is a go for me. Customer service is also top notch... Be careful opening the box with sharp objects as I cut mine open with a knife and damaged my matt but that was on me not the company how about they still replaced it free...

Works as expected, like the little rubber squares for your knees and elbows. I usually lay my legs out farther than the squares are, but the mat is comfy on hard ground or grass. Haven't tried straight gravel, but I imagine it'd be day and night difference on that kind of surface as well.

Its a mat. Not everyone needs a $150 shooting mat. Its durable, and gets the job done. No, its not that best mat, but it keeps me dry when the grounds wet, and it keeps me clean when the dirt is dirty. for the price, recommend. Came with everything described.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. It has extra padding for your elbows and knee's. Perfect size when folded out. Rolls up small to put on a hiking backpack for hunting.
