  • waterproof, durable, stylish, functional, comfortable -- everything I want in a duffel
The headline should say it all. I wanted something very specific. Waterproof. Large enough to hold sneakers, toiletries, and my biking helmet. Durable enough to stand daily use in NYC (no small feat). And comfortable to lug every day for 30-40 mins. This bag is exactly what I needed. Fantastic product and worth every penny! ... show more

  • Nice travel or gym bag
This is really nice. It's a heavy weight/durable material and very well constructed. I bought it to bring to the gym because it has a shoe compartment. I believe you could use it for some travel. It's a large spacious bag and comes with a long shoulder strap and straps to use as a backpack. I haven't tested it but the fabric looks as if it could repel some water. ... show more

  • The jury is still out
This is something I’ve packed to the brim. If only it was slightly bigger. The shape of the bag slopes on the edges mainly effecting the side pockets. Used this for a ski trip and I was limited on warm gear. After packing the jacket and pants, very little room was left for anything else. That’s more my problem though as the bag itself was good quality. Waterproof was tested just make sure no water gets in the zipper area. ... show more

  • Pretty much works as advertised, decent value for the money
I liked everything about it other than the somewhat clumsy backpack-strap arrangement which looks good on the model but tended to slip one way or another on my old back. When fully loaded, it is relatively heavy to carry long distances by the handle strap or single should strap, so the backpack strapping arrangement is a good idea, just logistically was hard for me to manage. Otherwise, took it on offshore sail, kept wet things separate and dry thing dry. ... show more

Great bag for the money.

  • For the price it's a good value.
Nice durable bag. Shoulder straps are very convenient to carry as a backpack. I wish I could shorten them more, but it's ok. A bit on heavy side. I guess durability comes with weight. I removed the side handles and middle shoulder strap to lightened it up. The extensions on zippers locks are black, hard to find them on black background. I replaced black extension with a brighter one and it works well. For the price it's a good value. ... show more

  • This bag completely fell apart after a week
I ordered this bag to haul around my dive gear. Now granted I'm a Scuba Instructor so I used this bag almost daily, often putting wet, heavy gear into it and then driving home with it on my back since I drive a moped. However, after a week of using it, the seems are all torn, the inner lining is peeling off and in pieces that are now all over my stuff and it was never waterproof at all. I will say that the zippers held up really well, which was the only reason I had to replace my last bag that was similar to this one, but the condition that this bag is in, you would think it was chucked out of a car and down a cliff. Biggest waste of $50. ... show more

  • Small but annoying design blunder.
Appears to be a well produced bag, but definitely has a design flaw. Once you fill up the bag fully the carrying handles barely meet and you can’t clasp them together to properly carry the bag. I’m not talking about overloading the bag here if you ask me. Bit of a blunder if you ask me.
