These turkey tendons are a huge hit with our two pooches! Our lab mix finishes one of these off in maybe 10 seconds or so, while our supermutt takes a bit longer (she is a more picky eater and eats more slowly). So don't expect these tendons to entertain your dog for a very long time. They seem to be tasty, though, and the price seems OK.

This is the third bag Iʻve purchased for a 1.5 y/o spaniel and here are our observations: - Treats do not have any discernable smell, even when dog is eating them. No residual bad breath either and no complaints about teeth plaque from vet. - 12 pound dog has not experienced any digestive or gastrointestinal issues so far and tendon does not appear undigested in poop. - Tendons arenʻt uniform in shape, thickness, and length but not drastically so. All pieces are relatively the same plus or minus 33% difference (just like not all turkeys are the same). - Total weight of the bag is correct and none of it was useless nubs or crumbs. - If kept refrigerated, tendon becomes stiffer and more brittle. Will crack and crumble a little more but softens up like a regular tendon while dog is munching. - If kept at room temp, tendon stays pliable and is more chewy. Lasts longer as a chew. - Can be cut smaller using kitchen shears, which helps to give doggo more treats more often. Overall, this is a great treat (special or daily) for my 12 pound dog. All dogs are different, but mine enjoys the snack and has no problem eating it at room temp or chilled. Enough sticks for many good boys and girls. Highly recommend for the four legged family member; five stars *****

This is one of the best dog treats, BUT.. I just received a new bag (new packaging, which is fine) and all strips inside the bag were broken in half! I hope this is just a random case vs. new ‘size’. It would be a shame to ruin such a great product!

She will behave like a different dog for these. She can go from completely insane to polite angel immediate upon hearing the bag rustle. She likes to chew one of these shortly before bed. It's very calming for her and helps her sleep when she has something little in her tummy.

My puppy loves turkey tendons. This brand has been great due to the amount that comes in a packet and the fact that the pouch reseals. My boy gets 1 a day during dinner and he devours them! I recommend it.

Understand Rouxger is a 70 pound heavy chewer. I got these thinking they would be thick…..nope. For a smaller dog that is a moderate chewer this is the perfect item…..but not for Rouxger. He ate this in two bites.
