Nicely made and has a higher pitched tone (than what I expected) when shaken. It may have a few dried pieces from the inside of the hollow shells shake out when you use it but it doesn't affect it's quality.

The picture of this item makes it appear longer than it is. The rattle I received was only 8" in total length, not 9" as stated. (5 1/2" to use for the handle) I would recommend this more for a child if it will hold up to their enthusiasm. It seems to be crafted a little on the fragile side...Maybe it's tougher than it looks! ... show more
