Fit is good and they are so cute. I’m an adult beginner and was recommended to get my own skates over using the rentals and they are definitely better. I didn’t want to pay the big money for the recommended brands so went with these for the price and get compliments on them all the time. People think they are custom made. The blades do need to be sharpened as they are hard to perform a stop in as is. Other than that, awesome pair of skates and I’m glad I took the chance on them.

I don't really know like seeming upper material, blade material, things sort of like that. In a way, not sure that it matters in the sense that I got these for my granddaughter. Do they fit her well? Yes. Can she skate around the ice pond in them? Yes. Is she happy to wear these and skate in these? Yes. Does she love the colors of these? Yes. So funny. For her how they look is probably her favorite thing. For me, can she have fun skating with these on? The answer is yes. For me, everything else seems like a bonus.

These ice skates have a thick, warm, comfortable lining inside. They fit my daughter exactly as expected. They look nice to start with, but I imagine the white will quickly become dirty and scuffed. My daughter wanted white skates though. They need to be sharpened before your first use, but most do. The factory edge on these was a cut that the pro shop in the ice arena had never seen before. He said "That's far beyond an Olympic skater cut even!" So take them to someone who is knowledgeable. The blade guards are nothing to hang on to. Get some quality ones that will stay on the skates. The included guards I think were only meant for shipping protection. There should be more ankle support if you are going to get fancy with them but they are fine for tooling around on the ice. They are easy to lace up and get skating quickly. They feel like good quality and if they don't hold up this winter I will post an update.

To be honest, I do not know a whole lot about ice skates and what makes a pair great and what makes a pair not great. These seem pretty nice and if you can get them with the 40% off coupon, go for it. The boots are made of PU leather so I don't think they will hold up as well as leather (in my experience PU falls apart even without a lot of use) but the ankles are very sturdy and supportive. The boot is narrow but it seems to run fairly true to size for length. The blade guard is a little jenky and doesn't seem like it will stay on without the zip tie holding it in place - it might be necessary to get new blade guards. Currently the DD is breaking them in around the house before she attempts to skate on actual ice. The skates did come with a little brochure with helpful information - how to take care of your skates, make sure not to store your worn skates in enclosed spaces because it's cruel, and practice falling because you will fall.

The blades of these skates are made of the cheapest possible material so they will not last long, you cannot sand the blades in specialized places because since those blades are useless, the boot is very unstable, it is only for level 0 skating or maybe 1 time and with difficulties
