When I finally did, it was an impulse buy at a local pharmacy, and it wasn't even this fragrance of deodorant. But what I purchased, very much impressed me! This product is affordable, of good quality, and it hasn't stained a single article of my wardrobe! Also, if the one I bought first and this one that I am reviewing are anything to gauge this product line by : the fragrances this company offers are pleasant, distinct, but not in any way obtrusive or overpowering! I have to admit that I was skeptical at first as most of my deodorant experiences have been not so great. I personally have very sensitive skin and most products leave me itchy and irritated. Native, however, is wonderful! From the time I started using it, a couple of months ago, I can say that it works great on sensitive skin. No itching, no irritation, and no smell! The formula contains naturally derived ingredients, which was an important factor in my decision. What impressed me most was how effective it is. This deodorant is amazing! I was using Old Spice Red Zone Swagger Clinical Strength Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant with aluminum for years and just wasn't happy with it. While it did seem to prevent perspiration to a certain degree, I felt like it wasn't preventing body odor very well at all. But I kept using because I thought since it was clinical strength that it was my best and only option. All these years I was poisoning my body because I was thinking the BO was just me and how I'm made and I had no other way to prevent it. Then recently I tried Native. WOW! I can't believe the difference! Lasts all day, smells good AND it's free from aluminum and parabens. The coconut and vanilla Native Deodorant smells great! It has a rich vanilla scent with lighter undertones of coconut. The 72 hour odor control is a little overconfident in the claim. I tested the 72 hour odor control, it controls odor fantastic for about 48 hours, then it needed to be reapplied. It could be my body chemistry works differently than some, so it could work that long for someone else I guess.
