The only reason I am getting four stars is because the battery life is terrible. But the product looks beautiful when lit, and even when not lit. Excellent quality but noticed the batteries dimming within a week.

Hung it outside for Christmas but it looked so nice I left it there through January. Held up well in the winter weather and is put away for next year. Very pleased with it.

I love outdoor displays, but in Seattle, it reliably rains most of December, and as we grow older, it seems like a good investment to replace the holiday lights we've been hanging on the porch roof, with something simpler and easier. I figured I'd buy a basket like the one pictured in the advertisement, and then all I'd have to do is fluff it up a little and hang it on the plant hook. If I liked it, then I'd buy another one. The first one I tried--a different decoration sold by a company unfamiliar to me--didn't light at all, and I sent it back. This time I was more careful, or so I thought. First of all, we have purchased our Christmas trees from National Tree Company for years, and so I figured I'd be safe, ordering from a company that I knew and trusted. (FOR SHAME, NTC!) The item was usually well over a hundred bucks, but I bought ours at a big discount at the end of the season. I really thought this one would be a winner. The item's name is "National Tree Company Pre-Lit Artificial Christmas Hanging Basket, Frosted Berry, Decorated With Frosted Pine Cones, Berry Clusters, White LED Lights, Christmas Collection, 20 Inches". The parts that hold true are the hanging basket itself, measuring about 20 inches and berry clusters. If you look at my picture--this is what I received, in 3 plastic bags. If everything looked good, I'd have no problem assembling it myself, but...look at it! No lights of any kind. No frosted berries, no frosted pinecones. The little white spot in the middle of the berries is a broken berry, and the other half isn't in the box, so they chose to ship it to me in this condition. The pinecones are brown plastic, incredibly cheesy looking. How on earth could they gull anyone into paying over a hundred for this mess? I think it's a ripoff at a fraction of that amount! It's going back now. As for me, I am giving up on buying a ready-to-use Christmas basket next year. I will take myself to the craft shop, buy the components, and make the darned things myself. It's what I should have done in the first place, but who knew? And when it's time to order my next tree, I will be exceedingly reluctant to buy it from these clowns. I don't know what's happened to cause the quality of their merch to tank so abysmally, but you know the saying: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

This product is beautifull, well made and thick with artificial foliage and accents. Ours are outside in a cool climate, hanging in a covered porch out of the rain. We changed the batteries once this winter when the lights faded, approx 2 months of daily timed usage. Recommend products from National Tree Company, worth the price.

I just put this battery powered festive holiday hanging basket up today - Thanksgiving afternoon. It has a battery pack, and mine is hanging just under the roof of my front porch. It looks great - it is lightweight but still has 3 separate chains that join at the hanging hook, so it should be straight and stable. It was exactly what I was seeking, and I am very happy with it.

The lights are battery operated with 4 AA batteries. They are supposed to be on a 6-hour timer but the lights on one of the two hanging baskets I bought will not turn off. And the basket is hung fairly high so I have to climb a latter to turn them off. For the cost of these baskets, something so simple should not cause such a disappointment. The timer on the lights is what made me finally decide to purchase a set of two.
