I’ve been a big fan of the Bucket List Family for years and couldn’t be more happy for Jessica with the publication of this book! The book not only shares practical and useful tips for traveling, that can be applicable to people in all phases of life, but it has tons of personal travel stories and beautiful pictures. Jessica and her family have special gifts and talents for inspiring travel, even when times may be tough. Their wholesome family values are woven through the chapters, making the book relatable and fun to read. I received my copy today and couldn’t put it down. The chapters are well organized, travel tips are practical things that people can realistically incorporate, and I’m newly inspired to continue traveling with my family and help spread joy in all circumstances. ... show more

  • Travel Guide Gem: A Must-Have for Adventurous Families
Format: Hardcover
We were thrilled to be among the first to receive this book after pre-ordering it, and it did not disappoint! As avid followers of this family’s adventures on YouTube, we were excited to dive into their comprehensive guide to traveling with ease and affordability. One of the most common questions we receive is how we manage to travel so economically with a growing family, including two kids under two and one on the way. Now, with this book in hand, we have the perfect resource to share our secrets with friends and family alike. Covering every aspect of travel planning, from selecting destinations to navigating currency exchanges and language barriers, this book leaves no stone unturned. It offers invaluable advice on packing for kids, ensuring a smooth journey, and staying safe and healthy while exploring new territories. But what truly sets this guide apart is its detailed insights into some of the countries the family has visited. From recommendations on accommodations and must-see attractions to insider tips on local cuisine, this book serves as an indispensable tool for planning and executing memorable travel experiences. In summary, this book is a treasure trove of practical advice and inspiration for adventurous families seeking to explore the world. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to embark on their next travel adventure with confidence and excitement! ... show more

  • I’ve been waiting for this one! I’ve been waiting for this one!
Format: Hardcover
Anyone who knows me knows I am not someone who follows or cares much for celebrities. Too many let fame and fortune go to their heads but this family here is so special. Their message speaks to me on a human level, on a motherhood level, and on a marital level. The Bucketlist family moves and inspires not only with the incredible adventures they’ve been on but the way they empower their children to live big with courage and gratitude and the way Jess and Garrett love one another and model that connection to their children and to the world. This thoughtfully written book confirms mine and my husbands thoughts that our first big international travel with our kids will be Costa Rica 2025! We took them to Canada because we have the privilege of living nearby but to fly to a place like Costa Rica feels like such an remarkable world school Pura Vid experience for our homeschooled children and Jess Gee broke down all the details to help us make that happen. Jess is relatable, authentic, thoughtful and together, her and Garrett are raising extraordinary children. Highly recommend this well organized travel book, especially for traveling with kids. Nobody does it better than the Bucketlist Family! ... show more

  • Both a journey and a learning experience wrapped up in one! Both a journey and a learning experience wrapped up in one!
Format: Hardcover
From cover to cover, this Bucket List Family Travel book is BOTH a must read and a must view! This is a high-quality book with a textured cover and beautiful, high-quality pages throughout. Along with personal anecdotes and location pictures, this book is packed with travel tips and tricks! At 51 years of age, I have said “I want to be Jess Gee when I grow up.” I may never get to travel to all the incredible places she, and her precious family, have been. However, after reading this book, I am vowing to try my best to visit at least some of them. And, for the ones I may never see, I will enjoy the adventure as I turn each page. Buy this treasure. You won’t regret it. Share it with your children and grandchildren. Have them locate each place on a map, and then follow this family’s social media to witness their videos while they were physically in these places. Travel is educational and this book is both a journey and a learning experience wrapped up in one! ... show more

  • Living Vicariously
Format: Hardcover
I don’t know when I have been so excited about a book coming out. Ever since I was first told, “ You’ve got to check out this cute family on You Tube”, I have been in awe of all they have shared with us, the world. Falling in love with them has been easy and, although I’ve never met them personally, I am SO proud of them for so many reasons…… their discipline; their work and play ethic; their character; their deep love for each other, their deep love for all of God’s creations; their selfless desire to share their story. Between their You Tube videos and now, Jess’s book, we all can enter into their world of adventure. This beautiful and information-packed book has been a joy to read and enjoy. I am loving having it out on display and picking it up to read over and over. ( I have also just ordered another copy to give to my daughter, who, along with her husband and children have many amazing travel days ahead of them. They are going to love the wisdom and guidance that the book offers.) Sending out a loud shout of praise !!! ... show more

  • Honest Comparison Honest Comparison
Format: Hardcover
I have a fair share of coffee table style travel books, including other National Geographic books. Jessica Gee did an amazing job on this book! First off the cover is a feel good texture you can grip compared to a silky dust jacket or shiny cover. If you are wanting something that looks good on a shelf… tick. Then when you open the book, it is like getting advice from your experienced friend. It has more details than my previously bought books, as well as better quality pictures from their videos or Instagram accounts. A lot of the trips do center around on how to travel with children (which is their brand) and I am glad she included a section for parents only trips. Jessica also included some stateside and affordable trips for the budgeting or younger families with including the dream destinations. I also enjoyed how you learn a little more about Jessica’s personality like the fact she prefers lakes over oceans (don’t tell Garrett). I rarely read every word of my traveling books. I am a member of the bucket list family. I think even if this is your first exposure to this family, you will quickly fall in love and be inspired to make memories with your loved ones. ... show more
