The skirt is very pretty in person. However, it's quite sheer. You can see through it, with details of my underwear clearly visible on the backside, despite the lining. Perhaps it could be mitigated by choosing skin colored underwear or other solution, but I chose to return it for this reason.

I have purchased this skirt in five colors over the past 18 months. All have been worn regularly, washed successfully on the delicate cycle hung to dry. They are not a natural fabric but they wear well in the hot Florida summer and can be worn in the spring and fall with tights and boots. They are ankle length (the lining is knee length) and fit as expected. I rolled two in my suitcase to take on a cruise and they shuck out and were ready to wear.

This is a cute skirt which has the elastic well sewn into the fabric, so it doesn't move around (at least, not yet). I'm 5'2", and it fits me mid-ankle. There's a tiny bit of sheerness at the bottom, but it's well lined so most of it isn't sheer. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
