Very beautiful and made the perfect gift for my 6 year old. However, I really wish it played the whole song or at least more than the 5 second snipet it plays. When your kid presses the button over and over again that 5 second snipet gets real old real quick. That being said , it's gorgeous and they haven't broken it yet so it's a win! ***edit after reading answers to questions*** Well I feel dumb for not looking hard enough to realize there are different modes located on the bottom. There is the snipet, a mute with just light, and a longer musical (but no words) version. This certainly warrants the last star in my opinion. I've gotten a few of these music boxes from Disney and they are all really cute. They light up and play music. My kid loves to be a jerk and play them all at the same time. But she loves them. She takes them to bed sometimes as nightlights. The music box works great and stands up to heavy play. It has a decent weight to it so watch your toes. The drawer on the box will not hold much (maybe a few small pieces), but it's a cute functional toy to have or gift. Came in original box if giving as gift. ... show more

My 3 year old daughter is obsessed with Beauty and the Beast and abosolutely adores this. Slept with it in her arms the first couple nights after she got it! It’s very beautiful and the music plays nice and loud. Very awesome the way the flower opens up. It’s also relatively sturdy. My daughter accidentally dropped it on tile floor twice and each time I thought for sure it would be broken but it wasn’t. Definitely trying to avoid letting it fall again... but still I was impressed it wasn’t shattered the first time. ... show more

    • Very pretty addition for a young girls vanity.
Received this today....earlier than expected and I am so pleased with it. It is actually larger than I expected (Had I read the description I would have known) and it's just beautiful. I suspect a Beauty and the Beast product craze once the new movie comes out and I wanted to make sure my granddaughter had one of these to add to the fantasy. It's plastic, of course, but not particularly fragile, although I suspect a good drop on an uncarpeted floor would do it in. Be wise with your age group when choosing this. All in all, I like it. It will be an adorable addition to my 7 year old granddaughters vanity. I very much appreciate the excellent packaging and fast delivery. ... show more

    • Perfect addittion to the "Be Our Guest" room!
The media could not be loaded. It's adorable; I wished it played more than the "tale as old as time" part. The glow and opening of the rose is a smidge cheesy but for my purpose it's fine. The guest room at our place is total "be our guest" so I have plushes of Cogsworth, Lumiere and Fifi as well as a Mrs. Potts and Chip tea set plus the hand mirror and a stained glass scene in the window. I also have "real" stuff that matches as close as possible to the Disney characters like a gold candelabra and a wooden coat rack and an burgundy ottoman footstool. It's also where all of my read/collectible books live too! About 50% of the people get it - everyone else is like ummm why is this a kids room? I can't help it - it's fun! ... show more

    • Gorgeous and simple toy that looks elegant
So beautiful you almost don't realize its a plastic toy. My daughter has this on her nightstand, and I will put it on a shelf on display when she doesn't want it around anymore (if that ever happens). The ring that comes with it is interesting, but will only fit a child (or maybe an adult pinky). The ring is also plastic and quite obviously a toy. The drawer is small enough to fit maybe a couple of rings, or a necklace, but opening it and closing it is a bit awkward because it isn't attached to sliders. ... show more
