Keep in mind your not going to be 'tasting' the flavor directly but indirectly through the fact smell and taste are directly linked in our brain. That means: 1) the scent pods are going to be quite strong so if your sensitive to strong smells this product isn't for you. 2) Your nose and sense of smell needs to be clear so if you have congestion or and impaired scent sense this product . 3) the flavors wont match the scent perfectly, so just because the scent might seem a bit off. This is because taking advantage of point 2 is a bit tricky. So some tips: * Try breathing in the scent before taking your drink or just after. This will control the after/before 'taste' you experience. You will find out which you prefer *Try to relax and don't close your nasal passage between draws on the straw. This will help the 'flavor' fall down as you drink or help reduce aftertaste. With the two combined tips I was able to get a nice even and desirable flavor profile each time I drank without overpowering my sense of smell and getting a nice mild flavor profile out of the water. It takes a little adjusting to and your always going to get more of a mild flavor out of it (think like a water pitcher where they have a few cut up fruits soaking in it to add a little lemon or other taste to). Your never going to get soda strong flavors, but thats the point. Nothing but water is going into your digestive system. Depending on flavor pack I would say its somewhere between a two and four star so I gave it a three. Good for what it is, just quite a bit odd and different with some work to get a similar experience. I could see one day them getting super close to the original flavor (fruits they are better at then sodas right now). ... show more
