UPDATE: I exchanged these for the same thing and I'm happy to report that they were in great condition! They ironed out fairly easily (w/steam) and they look fantastic in my office! These curtains are quite pretty but be prepared to thoroughly examine them before you hang them. I order 2 pairs and out of the 4 panels, I had one with a small flaw (it had a small blue thread woven into it, see pic) that wouldn't have been too noticeable. The other 3 panels were terrible! One had one blue spots and the other 2 were dirty. One looked like it had tape on it at some point. It's a shame too because I really do love the look for my office. ... show more

Not only are these curtains stunning, but they are excellent quality as well! They have a nice heavy weight to them and they definitely darken a room. I actually hung them up as a second set (for extra insulation) over some regular curtains on a ten foot window and the difference is quite substantial. I love these so much that I can’t wait for spring so I can take the other set down! I will add the only drawback I can find… because they come folded it does take some time to ‘train’ them to hang in a pleated fashion. They don’t have horrible seams that other folded curtains do right out of the package though. The weight of them hanging is enough to pull out any mild creases they may have. These curtains are really nice and long. It's hard finding curtains for 10 foot ceilings that aren't too sheer or cheap looking. These have a really nice weight to them and hang beautifully. When I saw the brown color, it definitely looked more gold to me online so I was really hoping that would translate to in person. I was not disappointed. The thread is more like a shiny golden bronze color and I love it. The curtains came with hooks which I will use once I get the rings that fit my rod. What knocks these curtains down is all the snags and marks on the fabric. As I was ironing out the wrinkles, I had to go over the curtains and nip off all the snags and hanging threads. And it was a lot. There were also some black and a few orange marks on the fabric. Otherwise, these are beautiful curtains and I really do like the color so I will be buying another set. I bought these curtains because I liked the pattern. I have already returned them twice because of dirty marks and repackaged items. After my third order, I still received one dirty panel, but combined two packages and sent back the dirty ones. The only reason I continued to order these, is because I was unable to find another brand whose design I liked, and they were not that expensive. Nice looking curtain blocks enough light without totally darkening the room, the hem of one was bit off, but not noticeable where I have hanging behind a cabinet, overall look nice you will have to iron them if you don't' want the wrinkles, but steamed out well.
