Works the way it should when product is properly hooked up. Ours did not come with all the proper parts and had to be modified slightly to get the air lines to seal. We can make do with this product considering it’s now in-returnable due to the modifications, but I would recommend spending a little more money and buying something else. We didn’t bother returning it because we had a car to finish painting and needed one of these immediately. Once this one quits we will be buying something else. It does not seal properly with the equipment included. NOT worth the money.

When tightening the fittings, I didn’t end up in the same position as the instructions however it still works. No leaks as long as you use proper amount of teflon thread seal tape and tighten each fitting, then tighten it until there’s no leaks. It’s pretty much metal construction and has a drain at the bottom of the canister. The ball valves make it easy to shut off. I think this is overall a good dryer to use for general high air flow use and if you want very dry air, then switching to the desiccant style could be used after this. It’s big enough that it will want to be mounted to a wall or something else and not just free float from the fittings. Price seems fair as long as it works.the regulator is a style that I would set it once and then lock it and not mess with the settings again. This will be easy to install if you have experience with air tight threaded pipe fittings and hand tools.

Look, I'm not going to pretend air filters are exciting. They're not. But after dealing with water spots ruining a paint job or watching rust form inside my expensive air tools, I've learned to care about this stuff. Why This One's Different First thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the box—it's actually made of metal. Real metal. Not that flimsy plastic garbage that cracks the first time you accidentally bump it with a ladder. The filter bowl is metal, the housing is metal, even the drain valve is brass. It just feels solid, you know? Like someone actually thought about what happens in a real garage. The single-stage setup is honestly kind of genius. Instead of running your air through a bunch of different filters (which slows everything down), this thing handles moisture, oil, and dirt all in one go. And here's the kicker—it actually works. My paint comes out clean, my air tools aren't gunking up, and I'm not constantly messing with it. That 120 CFM rating isn't just numbers on a spec sheet. I can run my spray gun wide open or have a couple air tools going, and it keeps up without choking. I've had filters before where you could feel the pressure just dying off. Not this one. The Stuff I Use Every Day The built-in regulator is clutch. Being able to adjust pressure right there instead of walking back to the compressor twenty times a day? Who Should Get This If you're serious about your work but not trying to build some crazy over-engineered system, this is it. If you've ever had moisture mess up a paint job and you're done dealing with that nonsense. If you're tired of your air tools dying early because of crud in your air lines. It's for people who work in actual shops—not climate-controlled clean rooms, but real garages where it gets cold in winter and stuff gets bumped around. Bottom Line This thing just works, and it keeps working. No fuss, no constant maintenance, no surprises. It does exactly what it's supposed to do—gives you clean, dry air so you can focus on your actual work instead of fighting with your equipment. Is it the cheapest filter out there? Nope. But it's built right, and honestly, after you've ruined one project because of a crappy filter, the price difference doesn't seem like much anymore. If you need a solid air filter and you're tired of dealing with junk that doesn't last, just get this one. You'll forget about it, and that's the highest compliment I can give a tool.

Very happy with this unit! Yes, it’s somewhat expensive. But it’s a great deal considering the protection it gets you if you have sensitive components or machines downstream in your air system. The components are thick and well made, even though they appear to just be cast components. That works with no problem! It comes with all the fittings and parts, and even a roll of plumbing tape! I chose the 1/2” for higher capacity and that you can always adapt your fittings down, but you can’t adapt it up!

If you're grabbing this for an air compressor like I did, you're going to need a few pieces to get it up and running. It does not come with the quick connect adapters that air hoses attach to. It just so happened that I had some extras lying around. I was able to attach a male connector to the inlet at the top and I was able to attach a female to the regulator outlet right after the ball valve. Also, it comes with the brass elbow to attach the regulator portion in front of it but if I screwed the elbow in all the way, the regulator would hit the front of the unit and wouldn't tighten completely. What I ended up doing was taking the regulator off and then tightening the elbow all the way into the main unit. I then attached the regulator. So mine is not oriented in the same way as the picture where the regulator is directly in front of the main unit. Mine has the regulator pointing upwards at a 3 o'clock position, which for me is not big deal. If this is going to bother you, you're going to need an extension to extend the elbow further out in front of the main unit. This moisture separator is a bit pricey but it's such a large unit. It's well made and very beefy. I have a 40 gallon air compressor and it handles it just fine.

Perfect air filter and dryer for what we needed. My husband owns a car lot / mechanic shop and we have quite a few tools that could definitely use this so I decided to scoop it up and get it ready to go and fully installed on one. This came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad. Nothing was missing or damaged from delivery and it was all in great condition. This match is up perfectly even down to the measurements on the ad so it fit exactly like we needed it to. Just be sure you go over everything ahead of time to be sure it's a good fit for you and as long as you do that you're 100% good to go. This works great does everything it is supposed to do very high quality very durable definitely not cheap or easily breakable at all. Like I said just be sure you go over all the specs ahead of time even down to the measurements just to double check that it will work for your equipment and as long as you do that you're good to go. This is exactly as described and exactly as expected. Definitely a 10 out of 10 great quality product and worth every penny.
