Its a Nalgene bottle so there isn't much to write about. The item arrived quickly and the price was definitely acceptable. Definitely leak proof and pretty easy to clean if you have the right tool. I gave it a 4 for durability because i made the mistake of putting 2 of them in the freezer with water in them... I did not screw the top on because we all know water expands when frozen but i didn't expect it to expand downwards. 3 bottles cracked and broke. That is not a defect and is not the manufacturers problem as I don't think they are made to be frozen with water in them. To be honest the price was so good that i purchased more after i accidentally destroyed the first 2. I would purchase this again. ... show more

I am a cup/mug/waterbottle addict. I have too many to fit in one cupboard. Chances are, if its a travel/to go cup from the last 10 years, I have one. I have Yeti and Ozark trail, I have Contigo and Camel Bak. Its my go-to impulse buy. I found my first nalgene bottle at a thrift store. $.75 for a 32 ounces water bottle in my favorite color. It's got a lot of scratches, but I found my holy grail. So I came here and bought another. I fill both up with water and ice in the morning and then just throw them in my bag and I have drinks for the whole day. They never leak, I throw my bags around, they roll all over the back of my car and the front of my ambulance at work. Fire scenes, hospitals. These things have seen it all and they don't crack or chip or anything. The one I bought brand new doesn't have any scratches at all. It's not insulated like my yeti and it doesn't fit in my cars cup holder, but other than that, these are absolutely perfect for my day to day life. A side benefit for me is that if i drink both my waters and a full yeti, I fulfilled my target water consumption without having to really think about it. I love these. I'm a convert and I'll never buy anything else. All my hundreds of water bottles got boxed up and moved to the basement. This sounds weird to say, but I love how smooth the mouth of the bottle feels on my lips. I’ve used some rough-edged plastic water bottles in the past, I guess! The size is also perfect – it holds a lot of water but I can hold it in one hand without it being unwieldy and it fits in my purse. I love the small-mouth opening because the wide-mouth ones are so easy to spill, but it’s definitely still wide enough to drink in big gulps quickly! I purchased the “trout green” color which I realize sounds hideous but is actually a really nice teal which against some backgrounds looks beautifully blue-ish. (I edited the second photo to more closely give a sense of the light greenish tint you see when it’s in bright light). I bought this water bottle to replace one with mold-attracting rubber components, and I’m so glad I did! I used to use Nalgene years ago, just got back into training and found this color with the smaller mouth. This is made in the USA, it has no poison in the plastic. (BPH) It is probably the best unit for exercise. People who are fanatics at the guy all have this brand. The price I paid was 2/3 less than I paid in 1998 in NYC. ... show more

These bottles hold plenty of water for a day of hiking in the Yellowstone or Teton park. Easy to drink from and carry. My grandson bought stickers from different places and,plastered his bottle. Now every time we look at it we remember that day. Now he carries it to school.
