I am a beginner when it comes to nail art. I purchased this set so I could dabble in some different techniques, and so I could use the nail stands to work on some fake nails rather than having to destroy my real nails practicing on them. The brushes are fine, but honestly speaking, "fine," is about the long and short of it. They're far from exceptional in any way, and given some of the brushes I've used are already fraying, I'm not counting on them lasting a long time at all. The nail stands have served me well though, and I figure those should be fairly good to go for a long time before they need to be replaced. The tweezers are also fine, though I'd prefer if they were rubber tipped to keep them from damaging things you're trying to hold with them, as well as enhance their grip. Again, if you are a beginner, this set will absolutely do while you figure things out and get started. However, if you want to keep up with things, you may want to look into higher quality tools in the long run. If you're already experienced, just don't bother with this set, bluntly. Look for better quality and get the brushes you specifically need, rather than a set like this.

Awesome, dollar store quality that I expected (2nd photo is dollar store dotter( but really good for the price, one dotter brush broke in unboxing but fixed with nail glue. Recommended.
