I bought shimano SPD cleats for them. Torqued them per specs and during the first ride both shoes broke. I bought a size larger than I thought I needed (43) and they were still too small. The length is fine but the with is like a ballerina slipper. My feet go numb after about 35 minutes. If I were to try this brand again, I would go up to 45. Worst case, I could wear a thicker pair of socks. I have since bought Giro size 44 and they fit perfectly. The whole world of shoes is a crap shoot with every vendor seemingly having their own measurement rules. Buying online is challenging. Sadly, in the current world circumstances, there aren't any 'Brick and Mortar' stores that stock road bike shoes so you might as well use Amazon and take your chances. And yes, I could have returned them but they were so cheap it wasn't worth the effort. Instead I put some expanding shoe trees in them and I'm trying to stretch them wider so my feet don't fall asleep. ... show more

Purchased these to use with my Proform studio 22i bike. I took off the factory pedals and replaced them with Shimano PD-RS500 SPD-SL Pedals and these shoes were compatible. I will only be using them indoors. They look great and are very comfortable. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the shoes look wrong when they are on. They fit my foot and I ride comfortably in the, but top of the shoe looks distorted when I finish using the tightening mechanism. Yet only I see them and they are comfortable. ... show more

I paid a Great Price of $19.95 .(priced for Only One Size) it was a Size larger than what I Usually wear, However having plenty knowledge of China’s made Shoes, Sizes always run smaller do it turned out to be the perfect Size. I try come with a rubber piece in the front half of the shoes, it is meant to make it suitable for street Use!! However it does Not serve the purpose, it makes the shoes to be Higher in the front than the heel of the shoes. It needed some modifications, I had to purchase the rubber heel from Amazon to Fix the problem. Additional $8.99 made it perfect for street Use. Thank you to all my friends Have and wonderful day. Very well made and comfortable shoes. I particularly like the tensioning system. Snugs them up easily and allows quick loosening. Bought them in silver because the shoes I replaced were gray. I feel a little conspicuous walking in all aglitter. Probably should have gone black but that’s just me. The price was very good in my size which I bought one full size larger to be safe. The shoes are light weight (that's good) and comfortable. They fit well. The soles are constructed from a hard, slick plastic which makes them less than ideal cannot get a good grip on the pedals) for those of us who would like to use them without cleats. Perhaps the manufacturer could make available a sole that is constructed from some other material either which could be attached to the original sole through the bolt holes or as an alternative to the plastic sole. ... show more

The shoes are fine but they do run slightly big, and there are problems fitting MTB cleats. It could be the shoes or the cleats. I have futzed around for too long trying to attach the cleats and at this point I really don't care about the identity of the culprit. I have a pair of genuine Shimano shoes and cleats on order.
