My wife got a pair of these a few years ago and they were great. Easy to put on and take off and they kept you above the snow. So I got a set too and took them out yesterday on a hike. Not bad! The poles really helped. Didn't really need the gaiters because I never sank much. This is for NorthEastern type snow which usually compacts, so not sure how if I would get a larger size for more powder. Anyway, nice stuff that works at a decent price. ... show more

Okay. I got the snowshoes today in today`s mail. They are easy to buckle on the ratchet binding. But how do I unbuckle the ratchet binding to take the snowshoes off my feet ? Can somebody give me an answer please ?

Utilized these snowshoes a few times thus far. I live in an area that has substantial snowfall. They work great in deep powder and on packed trails. I reluctantly admit to not being the smallest guy (250#). I followed the recommendation for proper length based upon my weight and have no complaints.

This is my first pair of snowshoes, so I can't compare them with other more expensive ones. But I think the quality is great at this price point. It's easy to put on for a beginner. I wore them and hiked for 2 hours. They felt lightweight and sturdy.
