Bought it a few weeks ago and I use it everyday. This product is well made, has plenty of room for a variety of things, from work related things to dog training. I used this for the last 4 months of active orders and was really happy with it. Mystery Ranch bags are super nice, but also often quite expensive. The big brother to this bag, the 3-day Assault, costs $400 (twice what this costs), but it has 1/2 the molle on the outside. This is a little smaller volume-wise, and admittedly there were times I wished it were a little bit more roomy inside, but having the flexibility of the additional molle on the outside more than made up for it for me. I also love the access from the back panel (I think this was designed for a laptop, but I used it for my hydration system or a quick pocket for small things like gloves, etc. The back pocket is also missing on the 3-day Assault version) And the color is spot on and complies with AR 670-1. All in all, great assault pack! If you need extra space, the molle gives the flexibility of adding space externally. 1/2 the price but with the additional accessibility from the back panel puts this bag (in my opinion) ahead of the 3-day Assault, and a very worthy pack for your consideration!

Quality is top-notch! I love every about the design, the ergonomics, and the durability. The ONLY thing that I would advise if you looking to purchase is it's a little small inside the pack. There is two external side pouches and anything you put in those pouches pushes inward thus taking away from internal space. There is two external zippered pockets on the lid, but anything you put in those pushes into the pack, thus again taking away from internal space. It's definitely made for a minimal amount for a 1 day (maybe 2 days) excursion.

I have a full ILBE, including the assault pack, and the MR 2 Day Assault is, in my opinion, superior in every way. Design for storage is more clever, Y zipper is not to be underestimated, and it's more comfortable to me over long distances. I'm able to stow a surprising amount of things in these 27 liters, enough to backpack in hands free, set up shelter, eat dinner, sleep in comfort, fix breakfast with coffee and hike home, never running out of water. You'll need to get creative for more than an overnight trip, but I suppose it might be possible. I have no complaints, it was worth every penny I paid and I'd do it again.
