The first pair that I received was USED and had been worn with scratches and the heel was damaged. A sock was left in the boot!! I immediately contacted Amazon and got a replacement and returned them. The new pair is brand new. I have another pair by this same vendor and they are very comfortable and easy to dance in. I'd recommend them.
